After some time the air on the bottom will be pushed up and you’re good!
Thanks for dropping by again xoxo

Great to hear from you. Even though i pushed the base all the way down (hehe) and even though i did not fill the bottle all the way, thus getting air between the pump and the cream, which did not allow any cream to come out when i pumped for several minutes in the upright position, by turning the bottle upside down and pumping 5 or 6 times, the mechanics of the jar allowed the bottle to self-correct! And i am still pumping that lovely cream out in the upright position, two days later. Thank you again so much.

I think everyone will push the base all the way down. I’ve learnt it the hard way that’s not the right way hehe.
So much more convenient with the pump bottle now, eh? 🙂

Last comment was May 5, 2015, here i am 13 Oct 2017 searching for how to refill my pump with a cream that is too thick to squeeze out of the bottle it came in. Thank you for all the comments. The one which was most helpful was Nov. 9 by Street Love that the cream won’t pump out because of air caught in between the cream and the nozzle. I had pushed the base all the way down and then got tired of putting cream into the bottle. I had been pumping and pumping (whew) with no result. So, after reading that comment, i turned the bottle upside down and pumped about 5 or 6 times. Cream came out and now i am good to go. Thank you.
