Unfortunately my processes are BEFORE the thumb print etc. Back to your question. If the buyer is using the runner provided by the bank, he will go to you to get your signature or in the current situation case, the thumb print if I’m not mistaken. You don’t do ownership transfer twice. Just once only.

I am going to sell my car, already found a buyer and price has been agreed. He is staying very far away, hence I hope you could tell me the easiest way we can settle the whole process after the loan is approved without travelling too many times. He is buying by bank loan. I don’t owe the bank anymore. I’m a little confused with the transfer of ownership provided by the bank. The last time I sold a car by cash, the form was done at JPJ. Do I have to do it twice now since it is using bank loan? Your time and explanation is much appreciated. Thank you very much for your excellence!

Just share my past experience.
When I sold my car in the past, I find my own runner to do puspakom inspection and my buyer paid for all the expenses. I have peace of mind using the runner which I picked myself knowing that he is trustworthy person and handle my car with care (i.e he passed my vetting process :)). However, in my opinion, if your buyer/agent is someone that can be trusted, letting them handle would be way to go as it frees you from the hassles of finding the runner yourself.
