It is true about what skin expert says about hydrated skin. One thing that you youngsters will not know now but will definitely feel the hit as you get older is that your skin will become drier and drier. Recently I managed to drag my legs to Clinelle PureSWISS Hydracalm event. I had been invited several times before but I did not managed to go to any of it due to the location – Klang. That is like 2 hours drive for me . Now this one I can do!

I am not going to explain much on the process as it is as simple as putting all the ingredients into a bowl and mix well but instead I am going to note down the “recipe” here

Body Scrub

Ingredients – Himalayan Rock Salt (Fine), Essential Oil (Lavendar is recommended as it has healing properties) and Lavendar buds for texture and prettier look.

Lip Scrub

Ingredients – Fine Brown Sugar, Olive Oil (amount as per your own preference) and Peppermint Essential Oil.

I’m not a fan of Clinelle. There. I said it. The product just don’t work for my skin. I think it’s quite mild for my not-so-good-skin. Recently I received quite a few Clinelle product from Wonderbox. Since most of it are expiring soon, I took out SnoWhite Mask to use. I’m a huge fan of rinse-off mask. It’s convenient for me as I could put on such mask and sit down to blog while sheet mask just don’t sit properly on my face when I’m looking down at my laptop.

Clinelle SnoWhite Mask is a rinse-off mask that whiten and brighten dull and lack of luster skin and it’s also hydrating unlike other whitening mask that are drier. This is a type of mask that are suitable for all skin type and condition. Clinelle also claimed that this mask contain the 6-No.

• No artificial coloring 
• No artificial fragrance
• No comedogenic ingredient
• No lanolin
• No mineral oil
• No SD-alcohol

This mask is said to help prevent clogged pores, blackheads and breakout. Something that I’m delighted to hear. I’ve been using this mask on and off for a month now. So far I had no breakout from using this mask. I have clogged pores and blackhead problem so I’m quite sure this on and off mask usage doesn’t add more to it. However I don’t see how this help in preventing all the above.

But, I like this mask very much. Every time after I use it I can see an immediate brightening effect. It’s kind of watery and slightly clear. Normally I’d squeeze a generous amount onto my fingers and start spreading which often not enough and I needed to keep on pilling more. It’s not helping when the mask is this watery.

Unlike other whitening mask in the market, SnoWhite Mask doesn’t makes the skin dry and tight. In fact I find that the mask is quite hydrating. After I rinse off the mask my face is soft to touch and supple beside the immediate brightening glow. I like that it doesn’t sting my face. Although the instruction said to leave the mask for 5 – 10 minutes, I left it on much more longer.

This got to be the only Clinelle that I absolutely love. If you are on the lookout for a budget and good brightening mask, this might be what you are looking for. If you just want a hydrating mask…hey, this works just fine too.

Having break out due to monthly menstrual or reaction from new skin care? I’ve been through that all the time and each time I’m devastated looking at my face. Just when I thought I finally get those darn acne marks lighten…I had break out again and the whole process repeated. Again and again.

Throughout these years I’ve been searching and trying the best way to heal break out. After many many trial and error I finally settle with these 3 simple step. Most people regardless friends, relatives or even readers come to me saying they didn’t know what to do when they have break out. I always advise them to do deep cleansing mask a few times a week to cleanse the skin from the inside. This is very important. Although you don’t see if it works or not but you’d slowly realize that your skin is more clear. But none of them listen so what the heck

I’m not going to put you through 1001 ways to heal break out like what I’ve tried. I will just share with you 3 different product and steps that works for me.

Remedy #1 – Nexcare Acne Patch
This is a God-sent wonder product. I did a review on this just when I started blogging. Many people swear by it and I’m one of the many people too. Simply because it really do work and you can see it with your eyes. Its so simple to use and effective. Just put the patch on any acne before you sleep and you’d wake up with a patch full with cyst. After you’ve peel it off you’d notice that your acne actually shrunken. If it’s not fully shrunken yet just repeat the next night.

Remedy #2 – Clarins Pure and Radian Mask With Pink Clay
This deep cleansing mask besides being a deep cleansing mask, I was told its other benefit is that it can heal acne. I’ve tried this a few times. Some works and some don’t. The usage is also very simple. Just dot on the acne and that’s it. The times when it doesn’t work it will actually “cook” the pimple making it easier to pop oppss! You’re not suppose to pop any pimple but that’s what I experience.

However I still prefer this as mask

Remedy #3 – Clinelle Blemish Clear
I got this from Wonderbox debut box back in October 2012. The first reaction I get was “urgghh Clinelle Blemish Clear???”. I was determined not to use it until a few days ago when I was doing beauty box spring cleaning. I had a pimple on my chin. And because this is a clear gel I decided to try it and dot it on the pimple after skin care before makeup. I didn’t see any miracle that day because I was so sick that I had to detour and drove home. I removed all my makeup by 12noon and by night time I notice the pimple shrunken. And I didn’t reapply at all. Okay, this is a keeper now

There you have it. These are the 3 different solution and products that works for me when I’m on break out attack. By far I still prefer Nexcare. Can you imagine how happy I am to peel those acne patch in the morning and look in amazement lol. Sometimes I forgot about it and wash my face only to realize I feel something sticking hehe.

Well, I didn’t go. But I managed to drop by last Saturday when I was “chasing the bus”.

When I reached the event area I was approached by one of the many SA available. I was told to fill up a form and redeem a Mystery Bag. Then a Lucky Dip. There’s two 30ml toner in the Mystery Bag.
