Thanks to Jenny who informed me about this Harper’s Bazaar February 2014 X Burberry Beauty Lipstick freebies that I’m able to rush to Kinokuniya and pick up a copy. Initially I have planned to go KLCC on the 24th January (Friday) right after my pre-CNY lunch with a few friends but the lunch was dragging until 3pm that I have to cancel my plan due to the massive jam everywhere. Then I was set to go KLCC on the Sunday but because of this magazine I changed to Saturday. Photographing makeup tutorial can wait, Burberry lipstick doesn’t wait for no one LOL.

As this free gift was plastered all over Harper’s Bazaar Facebook page, it will be gone in no time. I reached 10 minutes before 10am and I could already see a few ladies anxiously waiting for Kinokuniya shutter door to be roll up and they are also anxiously looking at the huge poster inside Kinokuniya that was facing the front door.

I blazed in and check with the cashier counter if there’s still stock available. I was told there is so I took my time and went inside Japanese magazine section to grab a copy of SMART February 2014 X Head Porter Plus Watch. Then I came back out to the English magazine section. I grabbed a few copies of Harper’s Bazaar, one for Jenny and two for myself but cashier counter only allow one copy per person. The rest of the ladies was busy choosing their lipstick first while I think the otherwise. Paid means I’ve secured a lipstick! After I paid for all my magazine, I showed my receipt to the lady at the redemption section and pray that there’s Lip Velvet – my favourite matte lipstick.

There was only four lipstick shades to choose from. Two Lip Velvet and two Lip Cover (or is it Lip Mist? I can’t remember). I ask for shades available for Lip Velvet. To be honest all four shades are strong colors. For Lip Velvet they have Rose Pink No.307 and Military Red No.310. I’m not a deep red girl so I went with Rose Pink No.307.

Rose Pink No.307 is still a deep red shade but it’s more acceptable comparing with Military Red No.310, which is a deep vampire red. Rose Pink is quite similar to my Honey Suckle No.305.

It was definitely one hell of a good buy. The magazine cost on RM7.40 and the lipstick is worth RM96. The manufacturing date is not bad, December 2012. But as usual Burberry Lip Velvet will be finished in no time since I only prefer to use Lip Velvet nowadays

Just unfortunately I wasn’t allowed to buy more than one copy otherwise I can help Jenny to pick up a copy. I think the lipstick was all given out by Saturday afternoon. The amount supplied is definitely not as great as CLEO Collector’s Edition January 2014.

Another great magazine freebies spotted!

This promotion is ONLY at Times Bookstores. The magazine is selling for RM7.40 so it’s really worth it. I know I said that all the time but hey…I won’t share out if it’s not good right?

However. There’s always a downside. It is manufactured in November 2010. That means you have another 14 months to use it. Although there’s only 14 capsules and you can easily finish using in a month. Don’t go crazy hunting and stocking up

Bumped into this magazine last Tuesday when I followed a friend of mine to Cineleasure (not sure if they’re still called that) to search for some back dated magazines.

Harper’s Bazaar Malaysia June 2012 comes with a Chloé Eau de Parfum 1.2ml vial. My friend’s gf love this very much and I could never say no to perfume although I have a lot to use so I bought it. The magazine cost RM7.40. Boring magazine for RM7.40 *yawn*

I also picked up a copy of Women’s Weekly June 2012 issue as usual :).
