Being someone that are into beauty box even before Malaysia have any and are still pretty much a believer in beauty box, it makes me sad to see what used to be a “growing like a mushroom” phenomena is now just a barely surviving hype. We bid our farewell to a few beauty box subscription service recently and I’m preparing myself to bid farewell to another love end of the month. So so sad

Just when I was feeling down and blue, I heard there’s a new box coming up. I literally jumped from my seat and did some checking on who the newbie is. Ahh! It is the Little Black Box

For the debut box, there are three different style to choose from that best reflects your personality and fashion sense – The Hipster, Classic Chic and Girly Girl. It is a no brainer on which style I choose. The name just gave it away but I was also contemplating to choose something close to what I like. So I was in between choosing Classic Chic or Girly Girl. Let’s just say The Hipster style is my alter ego lol. In the end I’ve decided to go with Girly Girl as it is just so me and suitable for my everyday wear.

What greeted me during unboxing is this little card. It also bears the next three style for the next upcoming box. Interesting!

Here you go! Little Black Box – Girly Girl edition. I’ve decided not to show you the box because LBB is using Wonderbox’s box, which I strongly detest because I feel that LBB should have their own box or pouch or whatever. Their personalise box will only be out early 2014. So let’s keep an eye on the box thereafter, aight?

There will not be a stated amount of fashion accessories or item that you will receive in each month. The item that each of you will receive is a myriad of items according to your theme and style of choice. Each month, expect a theme with three different style to choose from.

A breath of fresh idea is always a good thing isn’t it. We’ve been spoilt with too much of beauty box and getting a fashion subscription box definitely interest me at certain level. I believe it will intrigue those that are not so into beauty box as well.

Let’s walk through the content for Girly Girl box shall we? I’m going to begin with item that I like the most.

Can you see how I can relate to the theme? All the diamante, all the ribbon design, heart and pearl is just right down my style alley. For a debut box, I think it’s quite good and well selected. The accessories is in good quality, not some cheapo stuff from pasar malam. I like the mix selection of accessories covering from top to bottom ranging from earring ,to necklace, to bangle, to ring, to bag charm and also hair clip. It would be even better if the hair clip is anklet? Just saying

All these is definitely costing more than the subscription fee of RM59.90. If I roughly calculate it correctly, the content easily cost about RM150 to RM200. So it’s quite worth it, especially when the quality is not that bad.
