I started using sunblock really really late and till to date I’m still counting my blessing that I did not have any brown spots all these while. I do hoard things I like and sunblock is definitely one of it. There’s this thing between me and sunblock. I use it like skincare. I don’t skip sunblock unless I accidentally ter-apply makeup base, just like today oppss!

I was actually quite fascinated by the multi-benefit and function of this high protection sunblock. Not only I get a fairly high UV protection from all the harmful UV rays, my face is also properly hydrated despite the product containing oil absorbing powder. This sunblock is also recommended to be used as makeup base for those that are not so into layering skincare and makeup or even for those lay back aka lazy days. Trust me, I have lazy days too.

There is nothing fancy schmancy about the bottle. All I can tell you is that it is durably made and quite convenient to use. The content doesn’t ooze out when the cap is removed as soon as I shake the bottle vigirously. I like it!

The product is made in Japan which explains the Japanese name and description on the bottle. Just remember…if you can’t understand what’s on the pink bottle, it means that’s the UV Silky Smooth Milk

Skin Aqua UV Silky Smooth Milk comes in milky white color and it’s quite runny compared with UV Whitening Moisture Milk, which I’ll show you later. I do suggest a little bottle shake before using. Just to mix everything up

The sunblock disappear as soon as I spread it out. You hardly can see anything, not even a slight hint of color. Double love!

It is exactly as claimed – ultra light and ultra smooth texture. What I REALLY like about this sunblock is the cooling sensation that it gave me. As soon as I spread the product with both palm, I can feel the coolingness on my palm and that coolingness was transferred to my face but just for a very brief second. The product seems to dissolve and disappear immediately as soon as I had it on my face, leaving me with a matte, velvety finishing. Triple love!

Does it help with oil control? For oily skin like mine, only for the first few hours. My face started to get oily by mid day, which is quite normal for me. I don’t treat this as some oil control product anyway because it is not! Bear in mind it is a sunblock

The second new sunblock by Sunplay is the whitening version. This is different from UV Silky Smooth Milk as this is formulated with a natural skin whitening ingredients that help to brighten up complexion as well as to even out skin tone.

The multi function and benefit of this UV Whitening Moisture Milk is as good as UV Silky Smooth Milk except for a teeny weeny different. You’ve guessed it, it’s the whitening function. Although this doesn’t contain oil absorbing powder and the fact that whitening related product can be drying on certain skin but sunblock can never be drying. This will definitely suits all skin type.

The bottle is kept simple and the same as UV Silky Smooth Milk. The only different is that the name is in English and to make recognition easier, the bottle is of course kept pearl white

I like that the bottle is slim on palm and the dispense nozzle is long. I would also suggest that the bottle to be shaken before use. There is no worries that the content will ooze out after that. Unless of course you shake vigirously and angrily

Skin Aqua UV Whitening Moisture Milk comes in a more heavier, white color texture that is more opaque. It is basically scentless, not even a slight smell. Even if you forgotten to shake the bottle the content will still be dispense out as it is without any separation.

The texture is more opaque therefore the white cast is still visible after I spread it out. I notice that this is quite normal when it comes to sunblock or any whitening related products like whitening makeup base. This sunblock is slightly more heavier texture comparing with UV Silky Smooth Milk. You might feel the hint of oiliness which soon disappear as soon as I spread it out. It doesn’t leave any oily layer on the face. Although it doesn’t contain oil absorbing powder like UV Silky Smooth Milk, somehow it dries down pretty quick and with a little velvety finishing. Comparing with other sunblock in the market, this is considered one of the lightest of all. My face oil up as normal which means this sunblock doesn’t speed up the oil secretion on my face. I’m quite surprise that I don’t feel the sunblock irk at all.

In terms of hydration, this is the one. It provide sufficient hydration but not too over for me as I have oily skin. I believe normal or dry skin users will definitely love this more.

Okay now, after all the talk on both product I’m sure some of you are still confuse and eager to know the different between both variant. I know how it can be confusing sometimes :D.
