A few months ago, I attended a very private launch of VELD’S Cosmetics. VELD’S is a French brand founded by French model Joyce Musy, who used to model alongside other supermodels for major haute couture names such as Dior, YSL, Hermes, Chanel and many more. The brand focuses on innovative texture, efficacy and instant beauty effect. And it is only available at Sephora Suria KLCC, which might have expanded to other Sephora stores that I am not aware of . I have not step into Sephora for quite some time since Sephora.my (online store) was made available.

Now, before I start telling you about this VELD’S Eye Magic Anti-Wrinkle, which is one of the two best-seller in-flight products, I need to rant a bit. The name. Gosh. The name of this is so confusing! I’m gonna put this in point form so you know what I mean.

The tube says: Eye Magic Anti-Wrinkle (bottom part says Eye Contour Brush, Anti-Wrinkle, Smoothing, Firming)
The box says: Eye Magic Smooth Gel (bottom part says Firming, Smoothing Refreshing, Anti-Aging / Eye Contour Brush)
The website says: Eye Magic Eye Contour Brush, Anti-Wrinkle, Firming, Smoothing
If you Google, it has mix names here and there.

I have no idea what is the exact product name for this but I’m going to follow the name on the tube – VELD’S Eye Magic Anti-Wrinkle. End of rant.

Eye Magic Anti-Wrinkle is marketed as the only eye contour product in a brush. Is it true? To be honest I have to think hard for this. I have seen similar packaging for other products such as concealer but eye gel? Maybe this is the only one. I think. So what exactly is this? It is an anti-aging eye gel for the upper and lower eyelids.

This 15ml product has the same amount as any other eye care products in the market so it is pretty standard. However, it does comes in a huge long tube. If you think product comes in a tube is unhygienic, you may want to rethink after you see this. I am a germaphobic. The brush on this really really scares me. I have to run the brush thoroughly over a piece of facial tissue to get rid of the residue after every use. The product is afterall a gel. Gel naturally tend to get gluey if left unattended. And I personally think gel turns sourish smell too? I have not smell this one so no comment

Having said that, using the VELD’S Eye Magic Anti-Wrinkle is so soooo easy and convenient. Ahhh now that is the plus size of having a brush-on packaging. It comes with an Open-Close system at the very bottom of the tube. It is recommended to twist it to Open, press on the button once or twice to dispense the eye gel out and twist it back to Close before application to prevent any accidental pressing while you are applying onto your eye area.

The product is said to work on both upper and lower of the eyelids, in three ways.

• On the upper and lower lids
  I find the gel is “wet” enough to really smooth the nasty fine lines I have on both my lower lids. Because of this also I find the gel to be very sticky thereafter.
• On wrinkles between the eyebrows
  I cringe a lot. Naturally I will have creases in between my eyebrows but I have my skincare to help me with that. VELD’S said that this product is able to even out the area between the eyebrows by softening wrinkles that tend to harden facial expression. I have yet to try on this specific area so I have no comments on that as I do not have wrinkles to really test this out.
• On crows feet
  Those with wrinkles at the outer corner of the eyes can also use this eye gel to smooth them out. Again, the stickiness of the gel is able to moisturize and hence smoothen the eye countour out to minimize the wrinkles appearance.

To be honest, I have been floating in and out with using this as my day eye care because I find that my concealer and makeup does not sit well on top of the Eye Magic Anti-Wrinkle. No matter what I used, everything creases on me. On days I am makeup-free, I like to use this as my eye care. Not on days where I need to go out and have makeup on. I cannot risk having wrinkly makeup on the under eyes. That is the only downside I have with this product. The stickiness of the product is also the reason why fine lines are smoothen out. I can understand why this product is a big hit among passengers in-flight. VELD’S Eye Magic Anti-Wrinkle is one of the best-seller along with it’s brush-on concealer Eye Magic Anti-Dark Circle Concealer, which I will talk about very soon.

Apologies for the lack of product review lately as both my main and spare camera crap out on me at the same time. Needless to say both the naughty ones was admitted to the ICU. One came out certified (spare camera) and another (main camera) took unexpectedly longer time to fix than what I was told initially. I have to call to check on the status and they sorta rush it out for me. I did not want to rush them just in case they simply fix it for me but I was told they are 80% done with the repair and a few extra days was needed to finish the repair. I am finally able to pick up my camera yesterday

A month ago, I did a first impression on the REALASH Eyelash Enhancer and Brow Conditioner and I mentioned that I will be back with a full review together with the before and after photo comparison after one month. So here I am!

REALASH Brow Conditioner (RM170 / 4ml)

Undeniably, brow related products are getting more and more in-trend these days. It is well accepted especially for those who are not blessed with bushy brows aka yours truly . I remember my brows are not like this when I was younger. Thanks to self-brow plucking and what not, I ended up with lesser brow hair. I also believe that the brow embroidery I had many years ago sort of stopped the brow reproduction. I am not kidding!

REALASH Brow Conditioner may be your answer if you are in the same situation as me. This product’s advanced formula are formulated to stimulate the natural growth of brows and later on improves their overall look. It does not have any funky scent. You are to use Brow Conditioner every night before going to sleep for 8 to 12 weeks if you want to see results. Honestly speaking, I am not diligent with my nightly application. Sometimes I forgot even though I had the product in front of me. Sometimes I am just too tired. Comparing to Eyelash Enhancer which I have seen growth, I thought this Brow Conditioner did not do anything for me as I did not see any result from it. But I continue to apply till today as I am not someone who will waste product given. Then, this happened.

I did a Before and After photo and I was VERY IMPRESSED! My brows are definitely bushier with empty spaces now filled with brow hair, especially the left (your right) brow, and most definitely more darker! If you think Brow Conditioner is a waste of money, think again. It works. I am still shocked as I am typing this out *shock face*

REALASH Eyelash Enhancer (RM190 / 3ml)

Eyelash Enhancer on another hand is a product that I have been dying to try. I have always wanted to do something with my lashes as I am a mascara addict. I cannot leave the house without any mascara. My eyelash goes through phases. Sometimes they are strong, sometimes they broke, sometimes they dropped. Sometimes they curl like a breeze, sometimes they are so stubborn they do not bow down to eyelash curler. Not even Shu Uemura one.

Research shown that our eyelashes growth phase lasts about 30 days give and take. REALASH advanced formula is like a booster serum to help accelerates natural lash growth and strengthens them at the roots for a longer, healthier-looking and conditioned lashes. Results can be seen as early as 14 days too. Recently I have not had any issue with my eyelashes. I give the credit to this REALASH Eyelash Enhancer. The first positive sign I knew Eyelash Enhancer works was when my eyelashes curl in a much lesser effort. Then there was no fallout no matter how hard I rub my eyes or remove stubborn waterproof mascara. That was before I have seen any growth. By the time I hit mid of 2nd week, I notice how long my lashes are. It was starting to poke on my sunglasses . I have decided to not do a naked eyelashes Before and After comparison because I want you to see how spectacular REALASH Eyelash Enhancer has been on me. So here is my eyelashes with mascara on. Both photos are with the same mascara. Nothing new, nothing special. Everything the same except that the Before was taken more than a month ago. See how long they are?

I highly HIGHLY recommended REALASH to anyone who want to accelerate the growth of their brows or eyelashes. I already knew REALASH Eyelash Enhancer works like a magic but what I did not expect is that Brow Conditioner really does what it claimed to despite personally not seeing any results day by day. That could be because I look at my own brows everyday hence the overlook. Picture never lies

There is an eye cream which I have been using for the past few months and I have totally forgotten to tell you about it! This Estée Lauder Revitalizing Supreme Global Anti-Aging Eye Balm I love so much so that I make sure I left a small dollop in my jar so that I can tell you about it .

Eye care product is skincare step that many could easily skip or forgotten about it. Not me. I know how some girls would deliberately apply their face serum and cream over their eyes in order to skip eye care. I just don’t. I remember many years ago I was told why face product are not meant for the eyes. Since that day I make sure I use a separate eye cream and also making sure I do not over-apply my face cream over my eye lid. Think about this, your eye area is like a piece of soft tissue paper. Our face area equals to 10 pieces of tissue paper. Can you imagine a product meant for 10 pieces of tissue paper ON the one piece of tissue paper? That would be too harsh.

Estée Lauder Revitalizing Supreme Global Anti-Aging Eye Balm is a velvety eye balm meant as an anti-aging prevention for the eyes. It is a product that contains a very good blend of emollients, repairing agents, and antioxidants to help reduces the appearance of multiple signs of aging around eyes such as fine lines, wrinkles and crepiness. It has a potent IntuiGen Technology™ that is said to reactivate skin’s innate ability to look younger. The texture is a little bit unusual. The word eye balm says a lot. It is in between an eye serum and eye cream. Eye balm feels more silky and slippery in a way. Some may not like the texture but I love it! If I apply too much product, it does not get greasy due to the velvety texture, which I appreciate very much.

To be honest I have no idea what has Revitalizing Supreme Global Anti-Aging Eye Balm does to my eye area until I do a Before and After photo comparison. I knew that the eye balm gave me instant hydration and smooth out the fine lines around my eye area immediately after each application but after going through the whole 15ml jar, I must say I am pretty impressed with what the eye balm does. My eye area looked smoother and not as ‘bumpy’ as before. Although it does not really take away those deep wrinkles I had for years, it really does reduces the appearance of it. Well, that is good enough for me.

Would I recommend this? I would but there are 5 eye care products within Estée Lauder itself so I would suggest you to do more research and read more before settling with one that suits your needs.

If I start to talk about my pathetic eyelashes and eyebrows, girl…it would take 3 days 3 nights. I am not blessed with fluffy lashes and bushy brows #typicalasian so a little help is very much appreciated. Last week one very interesting parcel arrived my doorstep. I have heard so much about REALASH Eyelash Enhancer previously and how effective it is. Now I get to try it for 30 days straight before penning down my review for you

The actual box comes in a larger brown carton box as a protection so my REALASH box arrived without a single dent. Brilliant! You know how OCD I can be . I thought I am only getting the all-NEW Eyelash Enhancer but voila! REALASH Malaysia also include a Brow Conditioner in the parcel. Double happiness as my brows needed immediate SOS rescue. The theme that REALASH went with is the color Mint. Mint always stand out from the rest due to its easy to spot color and according to REALASH, it is very much based on lifestyle such as fashion, holiday, food, art, music and many more. The box is so pretty! The holographic design on the front reflects the colour Mint but it is also hard to photograph lol. On the inside, both products are carefully wrapped in REALASH signature tissue paper and lastly secured with a ribbon.

Here are the goodies, which I will try for the next 30 days before reporting back with a proper review.

Packaging wise, I like how REALASH keep everything clean, simple, with a hint of Mint and also keeping the product tube sleek. Easily to throw it in the handbag I say!

My first impression

You know me. I cannot wait to try anything new. As soon as I took out the products from the box, I applied REALASH Eyelash Enhancer (RM190 / 3ml) on my clean lashes immediately. I have seen Youtuber Shaaanxo applying eyelash enhancer product on her lashes while doing her makeup. I am not sure if I would want to apply this Eyelash Enhancer after my foundation though. It is perfectly fine to apply it while doing the skincare routine. I have tried numerous other similar products before and they are one sticky gel. This one from REALASH comes in a clear gel, scentless and surprisingly not even a bit sticky at all. When I blink, there was no residue stuck in between my lashes. Thumbs up! I was also expecting some tingling sensation as some products do but nil

REALASH Brow Conditioner (RM170 / 4ml) on the other hand excited me as well. I used to use one product for both lashes and brows. Never a separate one. This one also comes in a clear, scentless gel. It took a while to absorbed in due to the brow hair but it is perfectly fine for me. I thought the first time I sense some light tingling sensation. I tried it for the second time and there was no tingling. I must be dreaming lol.

Anyway, that is my first impression. So far I am liking both product’s texture and that it does not comes with any scent. I will be reporting back with a proper full review after 30 days.
