Street Love - Malaysia Beauty Blog with Diversify Beauty Topics

Earlier this week I was invited to visit theSkintopic freestanding kiosk at Subang Parade mall. I always like paying a visit to new brands to get to know the brand and products carried by them up close so that I can introduce to you gorgeous!

Beside Subang Parade Mall you can also find theSkintopic at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. I chose to visit the branch at Subang Parade Mall because I thought all of us shopper neglected that mall as everyone is too obsessed with Mid Valley, One Utama and others so I thought why not do something different this time 🙂

theSkintopic at Subang Parade Mall is located at LG Floor, exactly in front of Pizza Hut. It is huge, spacious and plenty of products to discover.

theSkintopic carries three different beauty and lifestyle brand from New Zealand namely Olive & Tebe, Linden Leaves and Wild Ferns.

First up. Olive & Tebe. Definitely not a stranger in my blog as I love a few of their products that I’m currently using which is Tebe Lip Balm, Tebe Hair Nourishing Shampoo & Hair Hydrating Conditioner, Tebe Cleansing Face Polish and Tebe Face Cleansing Milk which I haven’t review both yet.

There are a wide complete array of testers for you to try. Olive is made from extra virgin olive oil while Tebe is made from selected blend of natural and organic plant extracts and oils.

Let me introduce to your the star product of Olive & Tebe, the soap bar. You gotta try it on the spot to see the instant smooth result. One bar of this soap could last your for months!

Look what I found at the cashier counter top. Olive and Tebe Lip Balm. Also spotted is trial pack consists of 10 trial size products (if I recall correctly) for sale.

What’s new in Malaysia is Linden Leaves. This is also my favorite brand from theSkintopic. Linden Leaves uses the benefits of essential oils, plant derived exfoliants, natural moisturisers and a unique New Zealand heritage. The range consists of Skin Care, Body Care, Aromatherapy Synergy and Fragrance Diffuser. The skin care range is really not complicated. Each product is targeted to a specific concern. You won’t find two product for eye or two moisturizer for face. There’s no more confusion on which to choose with this range.

Here is Linden Leaves Body Wash, Body Lotion and Fragrance Diffuser.

The range also consists of hand creams, soap bar and body oil. Body Oil comes in 2 sizes. A 70ml and 250ml. What’s so special about this body oil is that real flower and fruits is soaked in the body oil! Something which I never seen before.

The third brand under theSkintopic is Wild Ferns. This range has the widest array of products with four collection; Kiwifruit, Manuka Honey, Lanolin and Lanolin for Him. Wild Ferns is a collection of high-quality skin care and beauty products developed and made in New Zealand. Inspired by New Zealand’s unique natural heritage, every luxurious product contains special ingredients such as manuka honey, manuka oil and kiwifruit.

Kiwifruit are naturally high in vitamins, minerals (in fact, kiwifruit have more vitamins and minerals per gram than most other fruit) and antioxidants which are all beneficial for the health and enhancement of your skin.

Manuka honey contains special antibacterial properties including an enzyme that produces hydrogen peroxide, which is a proven antiseptic. Manuka honey has higher levels of this enzyme thereby containing a greater level of antiseptic and antibacterial properties. It is extremely rich in proteins, vitamins and minerals and has the outstanding ability to nourish, soothe and heal sensitive skin.

The one collection that I’m particularly interested due to the sheep picture on the product is Lanolin. “What exactly is the product made from?”, I find myself asking this numerous times LOL! Don’t be shock but Lanolin is the natural oil extracted from the wool of the sheep, and is the closest oil in nature to that which humans produce. It is extracted after the wool is removed – a process that occurs normally once per year called shearing. This involves people usually using machinery with clippers on one end to remove the wool close to the skin of the sheep. This wool is then soaked for a period of time with Lanolin oil in its purest form rising to the surface during this time. It is then skimmed off, refined to remove all impurities then added to our range of skincare products.

Okay. I need bravery to try this collection in future 🙂

Which product review would you want to read first? Linden Leaves Fragrance Diffuser, Linden Leaves Miraculous Facial Oil with Organic White Tea or Linden Leaves Aromatherapy Synergy Memories Body Oil?
