SK-II Beauty Bound Asia Season 2 Winner
After eight intensive months of auditions and challenges in SK-II Beauty Bound Season Two, one winner has risen above hundreds of hopefuls and has been crowned by Chiara Ferragni, Global Fashion Icon & Global Judge Beauty Bound Season Two as Asia’s next big beauty name to watch out for. Culminating in Okinawa, Japan, the final battle saw nine aspiring beauty creators pit themselves against each other in a series of heart-thumping challenges set in the wild. At the end of two grueling days, Fairuz Nadia Anuar of Malaysia or better known as @innermaverick on her social media channels such as Instagram and Youtube channel eventually won the hearts of fans and judges with her creativity, charisma and conviction.

To be named the winner of Beauty Bound, contestants had to embark on their final challenge—an epic beauty adventure in the depths of the Okinawan jungle in Japan.  Contestants had to complete a variety of beauty social challenges with the brand’s iconic Facial Treatment Essence and create a 60 second  #FaceTheWild video inspired by the films of SKII’s latest campaign—SKII Face The Wild | Face the Camera Extreme Expedition series with National Geographic. After 48 hours jam-packed with wild adventures, beauty experiments and hectic editing, the nine finalists presented their final video to the global panel of judges headed by Chiara Ferragni, Global Fashion Icon.

SK-II Valentine’s Day Event 1
SK-II never fails to fascinate me with their grand event setup and last week SK-II celebrates Valentine’s Day with a short and sweet party at Mid Valley Centre Court. Not only red roses were decorated all over the #changedestiny house but also with three Malaysia celebrities.

Earlier before the event, fans of Nicholas Teo, local artist who has made it big in Taiwan made their way to the event area way earlier to catch a glimpse of their favourite artist. He sang one of his classic Chinese song “Because of You” and that melted the heart of every single fans of his right there and then. He also gave out red roses to the ladies in the attendance. Fans goes crazy! 🙂

SK-II Valentine’s Day Event 2
It is a Valentine’s Day event therefore it will not be complete without the appearance of celebrity actors and newlyweds Nazim Othman, together with his wife Bella Dally. Both of them shared with the audience their skincare tip, date night preparation and a little insight into their married life. But of course they undergo SK-II Magic Ring skin consultation to get a better understanding of their skin and their skin age.

SK-II Beauty Bound Season 2
Since Beauty Bound was initiated last year on July 2016, more than 400 aspiring beauty creators from eight countries auditioned and compete to become Asia’s Next Top Beauty Creator. For Beauty Bound Season 2, the game plan has changed. Fans is now able to follow the entire journey of young hopeful 64 contestants in the pursuit of their dreams. A first-of-its-kind beauty web reality series by luxury skin care brand SK-II premieres globally on YouTube on 1st February 2017. The web series will be released in two phases: the first five episodes follow the top eight in each country as they battle it out in their local Beauty Base for a spot in the global finale. The grand finale episodes featuring the finalists from each country will be released in mid-March 2017.

Over the course of six months, the top eight contestants from each country were invited to their local Beauty Base, a two-day intensive boot camp, where their skills, creativity and showmanship were put to the test over a series of challenges under the mentorship of local creators and industry experts. Among the local judges are celebrity makeup artists Jung Saem Mool for Korea and Xiao Kai for Taiwan, beauty creators Mikipon for Japan, Queenie Chan for Hong KongTashy for Malaysia, international singer-songwriter Anggun for Indonesia, award-winning actress Rebecca Lim for Singapore, and supermodel, host and actress Cindy Bishop for Thailand.

Nine finalists will get to win an all-expenses paid trip worth up to USD $5,000 to the grand finale in Okinawa, Japan, and SK-II products worth up to USD $1,000, together with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet and learn from some of the world’s leading beauty creators, social media personalities and industry experts. As for this year’s Beauty Bound winner, she will walk away with a suite of prizes worth a total of USD $60,000 and that includes:

  • An all-expenses-paid trip to an SK-II global event
  • One year worth of SK-II products and professional video production equipment
  • Priceless networking opportunities with top beauty creators and SK-II content collaboration opportunities
  • An exclusive one week exchange program in the United States hosted by industry experts
  • An invitation to join first Beauty Bound winner Janemakeup and top beauty creators from across the world in the exclusive SK-II Global Beauty Circle.
