Today’s update is going to be on what I have been up to lately. ONLINE SHOPPING!

Six months ago I talked about discovering VoucherCodes Malaysia, a deal and voucher site while browsing for discount codes to shop online. Recently I went back again to VoucherCodes to search for more discount codes and I ended up at HiShop (again) and Rakuten.

I’m not going to explain again what and who are VoucherCodes as I have done a detail explanation at this link. Let’s just say this bargain queen is on the hunt for the best deal again

I rarely shop at HiShop. When I do, I knew exactly where to find for a summary of the current deals and coupons. On my first time visiting Hishop Malaysia Coupons at VoucherCodes, I managed to score a few good deals. This time round there wasn’t much deals. BUT then, I saw a deal of additional 5% OFF on all products with minimum spend of RM120 and above.

No codes needed for checkout as the 5% OFF will be automatically deducted. And coincidentally free shipping is currently happening on all purchases so I guess I saved a bit

I was itching to find out about this other deal for Tool & Accessories with up to 76% OFF. True enough there is such discount but I didn’t need the item so I did not purchase it

While browsing within the same Tools & Accessories category, I found this hair ties set which are exclusive HiShop brands. I like this type of hair ties as it doesn’t give my hair the marking and it is hard to find such hair ties.

I wanted to get some Yankee Candle from Rakuten so I went to check out the coupons and deals from VoucherCodes.

Unfortunately no deals spotted for Home & Garden so I browse a while at the Beauty & Health category. I was once told to find cheap beauty and cosmetics at Rakuten Malaysia. I have no idea the Beauty & Health section is this diversify!

The reason why I’m here was because I wanted to look for some “quirky” beauty products that are not available in Malaysia. I was searching for DHC eyelash essence actually but to no avail. I found DHC lip cream instead for less than RM20.

So yeah, that is what I have been doing recently online – stalking coupon sites for the best online deals especially during the recent Black Friday sale. Although I mainly used VoucherCodes for beauty sites, I find that their other categories such as Travel & Holidays and Fashion Apparels are equally good too.

Now, let’s try out one of the deal shall we? I’ve chosen the deal “Get 20% Discount”, which is a 20% OFF sitewide for Visa Card holders.

Click on the ‘Get Voucher’ tab and the code will be revealed in a pop up window. The code is readily selected so all you need to do is to follow the instruction stated – Ctrl + C to copy the code.

Next, go to Luxola (hyperlinked at below of the code), select the products that you want to buy and click ‘Add To Cart’.

On the Shopping Cart page, there is a ‘Enter Here’ button for you to paste the discount code earlier. Click ‘Apply’.

You will then find the discount applied into your shopping cart . Then checkout or shop more!

I have shopped at Luxola so many times and so far no issue with applying the discount code into the shopping cart unless the product you have selected are listed under Non-Sale / New Product list. Just double check with the FAQ page for the list of brands.

Another type of deal that you can find from VoucherCodes site is not a discount code but product special deals. Hishop Malaysia Online Store is one of the many online store available in VoucherCodes. I believe most of you are aware of Hishop because 90% people I know shopped at Hishop . Product special deals are specific products that are discounted automatically in the cart during checkout as you click on the tab to activate the deal.

Once again I was curious to find out how it works and I decided to try the Victorian Sweden Egg White Facial Care Soap deal because the 34% discount is really intriguing

This is much more simpler than discount code. All I did was to click ‘Activate Deal’ tab and I was redirected to the product page in Hishop directly. Next steps are pretty much self-explanatory – click Add To Cart and checkout

There you have it! The secret on how I become the best bargain in town queen. I secretly stalk deals affiliate website like http://www.vouchercodes.com.my/ because let’s face it, I don’t have the time to visit all the online store one by one. Portal like VoucherCodes made my life so much easier.
