Till today I’m still slapping myself for discovering this Holy Grail lipstick of mine so late. It’s one of the best lipstick I ever tried, own and used. Okay. Now I’m pinching my own arm.

If you remember end of last month I chased the Dior bus to try myself the new Dior Addict Extreme lipstick and I only have 4 words to say; OMG I LOVE IT! Oppss that’s 6 words hah!

Dior Color Stylist asked me what shade would I like. Initially I wanted to get a nude color. But I never like nude nude lipstick. I always like a hint of pink in the nude. But the Dior girl that ushered me to the bus had a stunning bright pink shade on her lips and I want that! But she forgot the shade. After comparing all the bright pink shade with the Color Stylist, we settle with 486 Cruise. The minute I walked back in the mall after the mini makeover, I saw how bright my lips is and I was WOWed.

Dior Addict Extreme #486 Cruise (retailing for RM98 each) appears more of a red shade than pink in the tube. Don’t worry. It’s pink alright. I blame it on the lighting 🙂

The transparent, vibrant black case is nothing I ever seen. Black as in perfection, mystery and timelessness. It’s huge, sturdy and heavy which I appreciate. After all it’s a Dior!

The initial CD is embossed on top of the silver center case. Pull that out and there’s your lipstick. Absolute classy.

Here comes the swatch. This time I thought of swatching it on the wrist. What I really love about this lipstick is the smoothness when applying. My goodness. It glides on like a soft butter! So soft, so smooth, so creamy, so hydrating, so light. It’s nothing I ever experience before.

I can’t tell you enough how much I adore this lipstick. I wore it to every event and every important meeting knowing the color will last long on me even after meals and drinks. The color absolutely popped out and it’s really stunning especially on photos. If you know me than you’d know I have dry chapped lips. And that doesn’t seems to be a problem for Dior Addict Extreme. It just glides on smoothly covering all the imperfection. The best thing is I can finally wear a lipstick without putting lip balm first. The creamy formula is to die for. It keeps my lips moisturize the whole day. Did I mention the color makes me look fairer? 🙂
