Sometime in May I met up with a long time friend which I haven’t seen for years. The reason behind the meet up is to collect my Suria Meriang Staff Sales invitation cards from her. We went for lunch and chatted quite a bit catching up with each other on what’s happening around our life. In the chat of course I asked all that I wanted to ask about MAC, feedback to her how scary it is MAC outlet looks like from the outside LOL.
I’m quite interested to try MAC makeup base and liquid foundation. However I don’t buy stuff if I never tested it on the skin before so Bobo took out 4 small glass bottles and started to fill in some for me to take home to try. This is what I was given.
Bobo stored the glass bottles in 2 separate pillow box. Cute.

From left to right: Prep + Prime Skin Base Visage, Prep + Prime Fortified Skin Enhancer (Adjust), Select SPF 15 Foundation NC20 & Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15 NC25.
Bobo labeled each bottle for me so that I know which is which. I’ve gotten 2 different shade and type of liquid foundation. So my task is to find the right texture and shade for me at home.
Each glass bottle comes with a plastic wand. Brilliant!
Here’s the swatches for all 4 samples I’ve gotten.
It’s liquid foundation testing time!
Day 1 – Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15 (NC25). Perfect coverage. Mattifying as well. But shade a bit too dark especially after slightly oxidization. There’s a slight chemical scent.
Day 2 – Select SPF 15 Foundation NC20. A better match to my skin tone. More watery and lighter coverage. No scent at all.
So what do you think? I think I’m liking Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15 coverage but in NC20 🙂

Oh ya want to ask since got SPF already do you apply any more moisturizer ? I mean you apply this using moisturizer first for just apply this direct
Oh that’s easy Sherry. You don’t add up all the SPFs in your products. So even if you skin care is with SPF, you still need to apply sun block, makeup base, foundation etc even if they have SPF in it.
This one is liquid foundation. Which comes after skin care, sun block, makeup base.
Oh like that , I thought got moisturizer enough
Depends on what is your question. Cause I’m a bit confuse now. Are you asking for sun block, moisturizer or foundation??
All above you mention . So it’s put moisturiser then the sun block. I think we skip the sun block often thought just moisturiser enough.

Studio Fix Fluid is full coverage while Select Foundation is lighter coverage 🙂
