Dior recently repackaged and relaunched their iconic fragrance; the Dior Addict family namely Dior Addict Eau de Parfum, Dior Addict Eau Fraîche and Dior Addict Eau Sensuelle. The one I have and going to review is Dior Addict Eau Fraîche which comes in a pink bottle.

Dior Addict Eau Fraîche is a floral fruity fragrance which is portrayed as a fresh, elegant, bright, woody scent. Top notes are bergamot and grapefruit, Middle notes are lotus, freesia and pomegranate and Base notes are musk and woodsy notes. When I first read about the scent description I was a bit skeptical as I’m not really into fruity scent. But that was quickly changed when I saw the ingredient list. It’s mainly consist of floral, not much on fruity. Good news for me 🙂

Let’s talk about the bottle. I believe a lot of us collect perfume and the first thing that caught my attention is definitely the bottle. I like the simplicity of the bottle design and love the fading pink glass bottle. It’s a user friendly perfume and I’ll tell you why below. I have to be extra careful when handling this perfume. It’s heavy, made from glass and I wouldn’t wanna drop my current favorite perfume to the floor!

There’s no cap which need removing. If I’m on the rush out I’d grab this bottle, twist the knob from 0 to I, spritz and off I go! That’s what I meant by user friendly. Recently I find myself using this fragrance a lot because of this reason. When I have extra time I’d love to sit down and enjoy other unique perfume bottle. One flaw that I find is that the knob is rather loose. If I travel with this I might accidentally twisted the knob to I. Maybe it’s my bottle? I don’t know. I’m not bothered with that.

The perfume spritz out from the side which bears the name of the perfume. Make sure you look carefully before pressing on the knob 🙂

Dior Addict user might find the scent of Dior Addict Eau Fraîche familiar to Dior Addict 2. This is because Dior Addict 2 were relaunched as Dior Addict Eau Fraîche! The label at the bottom of the bottle still bears the old name though. Dior Addict 2 lover can now rest assured as your fav scent is not discontinued but renamed 🙂

I can be quite attached to a particular perfume from time to time. Dior Addict Eau Fraîche is my current addiction. Have you tried sniffing the new Dior Addict Eau Fraîche? Do drop by any Dior counter and take a sniff. You might just find your scent 😉
