Yesterday I was handed by hand my December 2012 Wonderbox which I subscribed earlier. I’m among the FIRST to get it so you can imagine how excited I am. I don’t think so I can make it pass the waiting period and the courier because Christmas boxes are presumed the best box or month and partly because I’m impatient hah!
From far I can see striking red ribbon. As you know or might not know…one of Wonderbox signature is the ribbon decoration on the outside of the box. You can read about my October 2012 box review here. The theme of the ribbon this time is of course Christmassy! I’m liking what I see.
Let me tease you again with the ribbon :). I think this personal touch for Christmas is lovely. I like the fact that Wonderbox team put on their thinking hat to make this December box something different.
My box is packed up till the top! Upon receiving my box I was told that my box is slightly different from the rest so that I can review the 2 variant of the box for December. So don’t go bombard Wonderbox with email on why your box is different from mine okay?
If you subscribed for November 2012 box you’d know that there’s 2 variant of boxes that Wonderbox sent out. You’d get the box that is well-suited to you depending on your beauty profile. So make sure you think carefully when completing the beauty survey.
I get both variant welcome / product feature card along with loads of vouchers, leaflets and of course the goodies.
On top is product feature card for Make Up variant while on the bottom is for Skin Care variant.
Here’s the unveiling on the content of December 2012 box 🙂
As you can see, almost all of the product is the same for both. The only different is the last product on the card which I’ll show you later on.
Let’s start with the handful of discount vouchers. I’m not a fan of vouchers from beauty boxes but this time I like the vouchers that are included as it’s useful to me.
In December 2012 box I get a RM35 discount with minimum spend of RM100 on Gamila products. I’m a fan of Gamila Cleansing Bar. You can read my review here.
Also included is a RM100 cash voucher for EMPRO semi-permanent embroidery services. I’ve always wanted to redo my brow embroidery. This came just in time. Hope it’s not too expensive heh!
Things just get better and better. I also get a 30% discount on all hair services at Jantzen salon. Time to change hair style for CNY! I had the thought to go back to straight. Not rebonding but just wash off the current perm. What do you think? Go or no go?
If your face, brow and hair is not enough…what about nails? I’m not too crazy on mani and pedi but weird enough a few days ago I actually thought of going for a manicure. Must be the influence from Angelina 🙂

Tadaaa! This is the content for Wonderbox December 2012 Christmas Edition. I’ll tell you which item is the same for both variant and which is not. Please read to prevent confusion. Don’t just glance through pictures! I know most of you do that haha.
I heard a lot of raves on Kérastase from my hair stylist. According to her it’s the best in hair care range. So when I see this two miniature I was relieved that it’s not Clairol or SP since I already have both from other boxes.
Left – Kérastase Bain Chroma Riche Luminous Softening Shampoo 30ml (For highlighted or sensitised color-treated hair).

Especially happy to see a FULL SIZE OPI Shatter Nail Lacquer in #Red worth RM59. There will be 5 colors that are sent out for all Wonderbox subscribers. I bet all colors are nice too.

The only different between 2 variant that Wonderbox send out is only this.
If your beauty profile is leaning towards Make Up then you’d be getting a FULL SIZE EMPRO Brown & Black Mascara worth RM58.80.
If your beauty profile is the opposite which is Skin Care then you’d get a Gamila Secret Cleansing Bar worth RM66 for 30g. Although this is a miniature but it is sold at Gamila Secret counter or website. For the normal size bar the price would be RM119 for 115g. It’s a huge one :).
Wonderbox also include something extra for me. I received a Sampar Lavish Dream Cream, Glamour Shot and Vivid Radiance Serum which was included in November 2012 box previously. Thank you Wonderbox for the extra treats!
If you remember, I was a bit disappointed with their October debut box and I said I would monitor a while before subscribing again. The November box was a success but unfortunately I’m not into lip gloss therefore I did not subscribe after seeing the teaser on Wonderbox Facebook page. However I’m glad I subscribed to their December box. I knew Christmas edition would be special and I was right. The box is getting better and better.

I can’t wait for my box. A good box indeed. I can put some of the vouchers to good use. You ought to get your nails done 🙂 I just had manicure and pedicure (again) last weekend. Lol. Was there to fix my broken nail but ended up doing both.

I am back. LOL. I wasn’t able to untie the ribbon because there was glue on it. So I slid it off the box. It is so fun to open the box – like a kid in a candy store. See, spoilers don’t spoil the fun for me. Haha. I got the cleansing bar. My OPI is black color, yay and giving it to my sister. Bf will be using the eye cream. The hair products – MAD LOVE! The toner, for myself. The cleansing bar, I need to find your blog post about it and learn how to use it. In sum, the beauty box devirginization has been very fun and exciting for me.

Yes I am still looking for eye cream. I’ve used Clinelle eye cream before. I have yet to replenish his eye cream. So he is going to use this eye cream for the time being. Now, waiting for the other box to arrive. Lol. When my bf saw the box yesterday, he thought I went shopping again.

that’s diff for 2 wonderbox is mascara n cleansing bar.but why in your box can get both? n how do u know Nov one is lipgloss then u no subscribe it?

I am somewhat glad that they have 2 different box according to our beauty profiles. There’s one with 6 different box. No idea whether to be happy or sad about it.
Good and bad. To me too many choices will confuse me. The simple the better.
