This post was meant to be up earlier but I was down with fever for the whole of last week. In fact the January Wonderbox reached me when I was having high fever. I woke up 3 days later to find a parcel placed beside my bed side. I finally had the strength to open it end of last week. A day or two before I unbox mine, I took a few sneak peek at other blogs on the content. And I was happy with the Valentine’s theme box!

Wonderbox never fail to present a perfectly “ribboned” box. If there’s such word :). As January box theme is Valentine’s Day the ribbon this time is in red. Love it. Gets me into the mood.

Based on what I’ve read before unboxing my box I think this month’s box is the same across all. I believe all of us received the same box with the same content for January.

And here’s the content! I must admit. Wonderbox is making me more and more anticipated for their monthly box as they had improved so much since their debut box. I love this month’s box because it’s mostly makeup and not skin care. I don’t need anymore skin care lol. I’m particularly happy with one specific item which I’ll tell you what later on 🙂

I didn’t expect this at all. One FULL SIZE Ronasutra 2-in-1 Mineral Foundation & Powder #03 Natural Buff (RM48 for 8g). This is the one item that I’m happy with. Reason being I was thinking to order one online for review. And what do you know? I get one in Wonderbox!

Ronasutra 2-in-1 Mineral Foundation and Powder gives a naturally luminous look for a soft and even toned complexion. It is free from talc, synthetic ingredients, fragrance and preservatives.

I got to know about Ronasutra when the team dropped by my office for an introduction and demo which lasted for a few hours. At the end of the meeting we were told to buy online if we want it LOL. A little bit weird but oh well. That’s what happen 🙂

Second item is also from Ronasutra which is the Ronasutra Anti-Bacterial NBR Sponge – 1 piece (RM5 for 2pcs).

This anti-bacterial NBR sponge is suitable for sensitive skin. It has excellent pick-up and pay-load properties to ensure smooth application of Ronasutra Mineral Powder.

Although I think Ronasutra powder are better off with a brush but since the powder itself doesn’t comes with any sponge, it makes perfect sense to include this sponge in.

Another FULL SIZE Elianto Nutri Rouge Lipstick #N02 (RM25 for 3g).

A creamy lipstick, armed with SPF18 and leaves your lips with a soft shiny and moisturizing finish.

I already had more than 30 new unopened lipstick, no harm getting another one eh? I like the shade of the one that I received. This type of pink is something that I have not own or used before. Lovely!

I’ve heard so many good rave on this next item. Murad Skin Perfecting Primer #Dewy Finish 5ml (RM150 for 30ml).

Skin Perfecting Primer Dewy Finish is an oil-free primer in a universal shade that balances oil production, disguises flaws, even skin texture and minimizes the appearance of pores.

I’m never going to complain of having too many primer. I love primer. It’s the one thing I must must musssttt have on before makeup. Gonna be using this for the whole of this week and see how it is on my skin 🙂

Next is one FULL SIZE sachet of Murad Pomegranate Exfoliating Mask 7.5ml (RM66 for 6 x 7.5ml).

Murad’s Pomegranate Exfoliating Mask instantly smoothes and hydrates skin, restoring brightness and balances combination skin.

Sounds like a promising product. I’m a lazy bum when it comes to sachet. But Murad is a well-known skin care brand. Just for you Murad. I’m not gonna be lazy with you this time 🙂

The next item is very much in trend lately. Coloured Hair chalk. I’m too old for hair chalk hahahahaha!

Hair chalk gives your hair temporary dye without any chemical harm. It is non-toxic and can be easily washed off using regular hair shampoo. Easily dye your hair at home and receive professional result!

My hair chalk was properly bubbled wrapped but still reaches me in broken state. Not an issue for me since I’m not into hair chalk anyway. Anyone want this hair chalk?

I like that Wonderbox team put in something special for their subscribers in conjunction with Valentine’s Day. Each of us received a small love box of roses. Awwww. So cute and pretty! Made my day.

A Murad RM30 gift voucher is also included in this month’s box. This voucher is meant to be used for online purchase only. I like that the expiry is end of June 2013 so it’s not too rushing.

Product booklet from Ronasutra and Murad is also included in the box for easy reference.

What can I say. You’ve done it once again Wonderbox! I am beyond words with this impressive Valentine’s Day theme box. What I like about this month’s box is the introduction of Ronasutra. This gives us a chance to try the product without travelling all the way to Shah Alam to their flagship counter. And also the introduction of Murad. I don’t think so I’ll ever have the chance to try Murad if it’s not because of Wonderbox.

The hair chalk is a nice touch as it’s so in trend now. I think almost all girls are screaming when they saw hair chalk in the box. I’m glad to know that Wonderbox team are aware of new trends. Good job once again!
