Because a Signorina is a different Signoria every day…
To celebrate a chic girl’s most joyful facet, Salvatore Ferragamo launches the new Signorina Eau de Toilette. Signorina is the ideal fragrance made for a romantic young woman who love to express her graceful sensuality through a natural elegance. I’m going to ignore the word “young” :). Let’s celebrate being a WOMAN!
The Vara Bow on the new Signorina is a new combination color of pink and lilac which carries a sense of freshness and a fashion edge. Romantic lilac color reveals the iconic Signorina in a brighter mood while being…chic. Personally I like the color combination of the ribbon bow and the way it was placed on top of the bottle.
All the metallic parts are in pink gold shade. It is a signature must and precious touch to the simple and yet versatile bottle design.
The bottle fits on my palm nicely without being slippery. It gave me a good grip while misting therefore I’m not worried that I might drop the bottle (I’m clumsy like that lol).
Signorina Eau de Toilette scent is fresh, which Salvatore Ferragamo said that it is with the vivaciously cheeky soul of Signorina. The fragrance is inspired by the chic sensation of a rice steam, added in feminine rose notes and fruity tones and dry-down to a milky woody scent. It is not that complicated really. Just imagine feminine, floral and romantic. That’s how I think of the scent.
The notes used to produce Signorina is quite an unique combination. Perfumers Sophie Labbé and Juliette Karagueuzoglou takes a daring step in combining fruits, floral, plant and consumable in Signorina. Albeit odd but it works.
Top Note – Grapefruit & Litchi. Combinate this two and you’d get a natural fruity scent.
Heart Note – Rose Oil & Rice Steam. This unique combination offer a silky texture.
Dry Down Note – Milk Mousse & Cashmeran. Milk Moouse’s smooth and addictive scent is shaken by ambery woody of Cashmeran.
My nose picked up floral scent thanks to Rose Oil which I’m delighted to know. I’m a fan of anything that is rose scented. It’s also fruity but the fruitiness is not very obvious nor sweet. When the scent dries down, the ambery woody scent is not strong at all. Like I said, it’s very feminine.
My Signorina is a personalized bottle. I had wanted to emboss “Street Love” which in the end I settle with my name instead 🙂
For the whole week Suria KLCC Concourse floor was packed with visitors. It must be the scent that drew the crowd in. The event area also beautifully decorated with hanging Signorina. It was a beautiful sight.
Members of the media sample the notes one by one by scent test and taste test. When Signorina was revealed we were handed a ribbon ball ring to sniff. Well let’s just say I took two ribbon ball ring for fun 😀
I don’t take a long time to fell in love with feminine scent like this. I was quite pleased that it mist on fruity floral and dries down to floral while dominating the woody base note at the same time. The only downside is that this comes in EDT without a EDP version. The scent only lasted slightly more than half a day on me, except on days where I misted more then it can last a bit longer. Eventhough I can be heavy handed with this perfume, it doesn’t give me headache at all.
