It seems to get harder and harder to arrange all the products in MIVVA box month by month don’t you think so? 🙂 It is not a bad thing actually since we are well pampered with a box full with varieties of products. To coincide with this, MIVVA came out with the latest box with the theme My Pamper Kit.

This month’s box is quite a heavy one too. Notice the change of box design? Yes, MIVVA decided to change their box material AND design all together as the previous revamped box is too soft therefore some of the boxes are dented when it reached the subscribers. This new box is black in color with silver polka dots and logo. It is very thick, hard and durable too. Hopefully this new box will solve the dented box issue 😀

In this month’s box there is actually 3 full sizes. We are really being pampered by the girls! Okay, let’s go through the content one by one.

FULL SIZE Beautymate Purifying and Hydrating Nano Toner (RM49.90/120ml)

The Ginkgo Biloba Leaf Extract in this toner helps to hydrate the skin and facilitate the metabolism which prepares fast absorption of the lotion. It is formulated with natural mineral of Hydrolyzed Pearl to brighten up skin tone and balance the pH value, making the skin soft and smooth. Glycoproteins help to increase the moisture balance in cuticle up to 15 hours or more. Contain Ginkgo Biloba Leaf Extract, Hydrolyzed Pearl and Glycoprotens.

I think one will never get enough of toner in their stash. I personally stock up toner. I am still using the previous Beautymate Purifying and Brightening Nano Toner from February 2013 edition and its actually not bad.

Purifying and Hydrating Nano Toner smells oh-so-good! I absolutely like it because it’s nicely scented lol. The bottle is very sturdy and heavy. It is made from glass but even if you hold the bottle by its cap, the bottle doesn’t drop off. Beautymate toner is quite hydrating and not sticky, just the way I like it. Certainly doesn’t add shine to my face 😀

FULL SIZE Unico Eye Lip Enriched Cream (RM98.80/15ml)

This cream works by enhancing the biological function of the lymphatic system, strengthening the cell metabolism to eliminate eye bags, dark eye circles, bulging, puffiness and fine lines so the facial skin around the eye are firmer and brighter. It is specially designed to block cell degeneration by scavenging the free radicals and epidermis mediators that could damage the skin tissue fibres.

I have never heard of this brand or this product before. The name “eye lip” confuse me at first because I actually thought its a cream for the eye and lips! lolz

So what is this cream? It is an eye cream. The unique thing about this eye cream is that it can also be used as eye makeup primer. Hmm interesting eh? I shall try that soon.

FULL SIZE Elianto Ardour Shadow #06 Rampart Blue (RM8/2g)

This Ardour Shadow glides smoothly and easily on eyes, giving that soft and smooth texture for a matte finish. Ardour Shadow is available in 15 more matte shades.

I have never had any matte shadow before so this would be my first. All this while I have been using shimmering eyeshadow. This Rampart Blue would be one interesting addition to my collection :). I’m quite happy that I’ve gotten blue and not brown :P. Thank you for remembering MIVVA 😀

I’ve heard marvelous review on Elianto shadow. I was told it is very pigmented and the price is highly affordable too. The color that I have would make a great dark navy blue smokey eye look. What color did you get?

Somang Danahan Bonyeon Intensive Moisturizing Gift 2 Pcs Set (Toner 5ml & Emulsion 5ml)

This is the oriental herbal moisturizing toner that adds ample moisture to dry skin and keeps skin highly moisturize and emulsion that creates a water cover into the skin and keeps the skin soft. Infused with Chrysanthemum Indicum Flower, Cyperus Rotundus Root, Red Ginseng, Hoelen Alba, Angelica Gagas, White Peony Roots, Chuanxiong and Gardenia Seeds extract. All this ingredient improve blood circulation and enhances skin’s natural moisturizing function.

This would be my first encounter with Somang although Somang appear once before in MIVVA box. This gift set is rather interesting. When I first saw it I thought it’s cookie! After taking a closer look then only I realized its skin care :D. Somang is actually a brand Made in Korea. Despite being just at 5ml, I appreciate that it comes in a small container and not in sachet form. It would probably last me 2-3 usage.

Although I know that its oriental herbal moisturizing and contain Red Ginseng extract, I would expect this to smell herbaly. But its not! In fact it smells so good. It is definitely fragrant but trust me its really nice smell. I was quite glad with the scent and rather not have anything herbal.

Skin Toner – RM139.90/160ml

Re-Gen Oil (3ml x 3)

Re-Gen Oil contain active ingredient like PCL liquid to promote skin regenerations. It is rich in Vitamin A and E that helps to fight skin ageing by reducing the oxidant in the skin. Besides that it also contain Lavender, Calendula, Chamomile and Rosemary Oil. This special formulation provides high level of moisture that improves blemish skin with scar tissue.

I was actually approached by Re-Gen Oil a few months ago to do a product review but I rejected it because I couldn’t review the product based on their requirement. Initially they want me to review it based on how it can reduce stretch marks which I don’t have. Secondly on how the oil can help dry skin…which I am not at all. Lastly on scars which I don’t have. All I have is acne scars on my face but that is not what they want to target. Oh well.

Then my friend is looking for beauty box to go in and we sort of talk about putting in MIVVA. End up it’s really MIVVA! Well, I do like oil product regardless face or body so I am still going to use this regardless scar or no scar, stretch marks or no stretch marks 😛

What I Like

That the girls at MIVVA listen to their subscribers. There has been a few feedback on dented box received so they quickly changed to a new box with improvised material that are thicker, harder and sturdier. New box comes with new design. The black box is classy and chic but hard to be photograph. The background tend to overexpose lol.

MIVVA never disappoint in terms of product selection, size and number of products included. Although I insist numerous times that full size or not it doesn’t matter but it sure do make most people happy with the full sizes.

PosLaju delivery is still as fantastic as ever 😀

What I Dislike

How do I put this out…I mean…I can’t just say it like that…I…I mean…I really, really LOVE this box!! Haha gotcha :). Mad love.

Conclusion

Despite being pampered with full sizes every single month, I need to stress to everyone that beauty box is not about receiving full size or receiving specific product for you. The whole idea of beauty box is to provide deluxe sizes for you to try BEFORE purchasing the full size. If you are expecting full size you might as well just go buy it from the counter right? If you are expecting one specific brand or product catering to your like and need you might as well go buy it directly from retail right?

So what we are getting in our boxes now is really a bonus.

If you are looking for a gift to your girl friend or anyone at all…I would say MIVVA is the best and suitable gift option 😀
