As far as I know, many of you are a regular of Bag Of Love. Some are regular subscribers, some are hard core fans and some are avid beauty box/bag subscribers. Me on the other hand is based on the mood and content. I’m a “touch and go” subscriber 😀
I know too that many Bag Of Love subscribers subscribe after seeing the bag design. Usually I don’t. I’ll just wait for the content sneak peek. I’m not into pouches although I do admit the pouch design is nice especially this Bag Of Love “Take Me There” September 2013 Edition.
I’ve seen perfume miniature but very rarely do I get to see a rollerball perfume. Usually I keep a perfume vial in my wallet and I’m running out of vial. When I found out that I’m getting this in Bag Of Love “Take Me There” September 2013 Edition, I was beyond happy 😀
Calvin Klein Eternity Aqua Women Rollerball EDP 6ml (worth RM49) is something that we don’t get to see in Malaysia. Don’t ask me how Bag Of Love got it. They just did. Using this is really a no brainer. Simply just roll onto pulse point or anywhere you desired.
Next up is Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Shimmer Multi-Purpose Dry Oil 10ml (worth RM19.80). I had a bottle of this before from Vanity Trove April 2012 subscription and given it away to Gin. The smell is just too weird for me lol. I think the scent of the normal version would be better.
The shimmer version is suppose to give the skin that radiant. You can apply this dry oil on the face, body or even hair.
My first Swiss Line! Eventhough Swiss Line Force Vitale Aqua Vitale Cream 10ml (worth RM73.60) is just a deluxe sample, the packaging is so luxe. Usually the word “Aqua” is meant for hydrating so I assume this cream is targeted for skin hydration. I did a quick Google check and I was right 🙂
O’slee especially made this O’slee Rosehip Beauty Solution Advanced Formula III 60ml (worth RM35.94) in Hong Kong for Bag Of Love. One thing I don’t understand. Since the retail size is just 100ml, why not just give that in the bag instead? 60ml to 100ml is not that big difference anyway.
I’m not a fan of O’slee so this bottle has gone to the blog sales.
Olay has been making a name recently with the release of numerous skin care products into the market. In Bag Of Love “Take Me There” edition, there is a Olay Regenerist Advanced Anti-Aging 10ml (worth RM9.98) that comes in a pillow box. I like the presentation of it because 10ml is a small sample but the way it was packaged changed the perception completely.
Last but not least is a sachet of RVB SkinLab Diego Dalla Palma Cell Detoxium Purifying Clay Mask 10ml (worth RM29.90). You know I’m a big fan of clay mask so although this is just a sachet but it’s handy. Will use this soon 🙂
MiMi Bag Of Love mentioned in Facebook that there will be limited Calvin Klein Euphoria Women EDP 15ml miniature that might be ours with a subscription to the Bag Of Love “Take Me There” September 2013 Edition. I think most of us thought these lucky subscribers will find the miniature in the bag but no one did. No one posted in Facebook or Instagram. Finally on last Tuesday MiMi revealed that the first 10 people to bring and show the September card to 6 selected Calvin Klein counters will get to redeem the miniature. The tricky thing is MiMi posted in the afternoon where everyone is working and most people left the card at home. I’m not exceptional as well.
The weird thing is no one said they redeemed it. Usually people would be running for it! So I brought my card to work the next day to try my luck. Initially I went to Metrojaya Mid Valley but for some reason it’s closed. I waste no time and walked to the other end to Aeon. The lady at the counter seems to know nothing about this. That means no one redeemed yet. I don’t blame her for not believing me because the card didn’t state anything at all. So I showed her the Facebook page. But she wasn’t unhelpful either. She called her counter supervisor but he/she did not pick up so she called the Marketing Exec of Calvin Klein in the office. After a short brief on the phone, I was told to write down my details and she gave me a bottle of Calvin Klein Euphoria EDP 15ml :D. Made my day <3
What I Like
On previous subscription I have issues with AirPak. The service is just very bad. I didn’t subscribe after that because I just couldn’t deal with AirPak anymore. It’s too tiring to argue every day on the phone begging them to send the parcel to me. I’m so glad MiMi changed to TA-Q-BIN. My bag was on the second batch delivery I think but I still received it together with everyone else.
I also like that MiMi have all this mini contest in Facebook after that to giveaway some full sizes. I feel that subscribers are being “entertained” even after a few weeks of receiving the bags. It is simple and doesn’t required too many steps in order to win something. And of course I like the perfume miniature redemption activity. I don’t get to comment and win their mini contest but I can always do redemption LOL.
I’m amazed with the product selection in every month’s bag. It’s really good. What I like about this month’s content is that it doesn’t contain too much of drugstore brand. My friend is a huge fan of Bag Of Love and I secretly bought her a bag. Her office address is too long for the subscription form so MiMi offered to deliver by hand to my friend :). Does she love it? Yes she does! She was beyond happy 😉

Conclusion
I should have gotten a few more of this Bag Of Love “Take Me There” September 2013 Edition LOL! Anyway, Bag Of Love have always set the bar higher for other beauty boxes. I think RM39.90 is not a bad investment at all but I don’t subscribe every month due to space issue. I wouldn’t want to drown myself with samples so I only subscribe when the content suits me. The bag concept still doesn’t intrigue me very much but it does make a good gifting idea.
I heard there will be brush in October bag. Since I’m in the midst of collecting Definite brushes from Bag Of Love, I subscribed too 😀

You deserve picking up the CK Euphoria prize, Fiona, having visited two locations for it. I admire your determination. I settled for the very mini spritzer consolation which was better than leaving empty-handed.
Like I said, I rocked up at the CK counter at Pavilion and they knew nothing about it one minute and then told me they had run out the next. Wonder how that works. I had to get the BOL FB on my phone too.
I really like this month’s BOL too. It’s so cute and I just like that BOL is always as you put, entertaining. It’s true – like a month long string of ‘events’. Definitely one of my favourite subscriptions and Mi Mi is passionate about her bags with a capital P.
I wanted the miniature badly because I collect perfume miniature lol. It’s more convenient for me to bring out too. I saw your comment on the vial. I do hope MiMi have helped you with it (I saw her asking you to PM her).
Yes, MiMi doesn’t leave us hanging waiting for the next bag. She kept everyone in the hype by throwing mini contest. I subscribed for October Bag Of Lice haha!
Mi Mi wasn’t able to help me get the mini but it was nice of her to get in touch – she’s such a sweetie! I saw a CK gift set with the Euphoria in the 15ml size in a set of 4 mini fragrances at SaSa for around Rm180. I love the BOL sneak peeks but I would order the next one anyway. Mi Mi’s samples are just so well-curated. Love them! I usually get doubles if it’s an extra good bag coming up. Yeah, and who could get away with calling their beauty bag – Bag of Lice. Only Bag of Love, that’s for sure!
If the sneak peek is good, no harm getting it :). I would normally think carefully if the products in it suits me otherwise it will be a waste. Bag Of Lice haha! It’s going to be the first beauty bag to actually change the brand name for a month.
I kinda into Bag of Love after my first subscription to the first bag in September. I am one of them who subscript it because of the bag!! Today Mimi just announce the content of October bag!! Honestly I am so attracted to subscribing it. So I am in dilemma now 🙁 to subscribe Bag of Love or Mivva box.
Hehe. Most subscribers are into bags. Maybe because I shop a lot so pouches is always a part of GWP. At the very beginning I’m very into pouches. After collecting so many of it, I’m over it LOL.

Mivva had add RM10 into postage if subscribe for only 1 month. So kinda expensive now while Bag of love only RM 39.90 including postage. So I’m waiting for Mivva teaser. hahaha… but Bag of Love have full size CC cream! Now you can see what situation I’m in! hahaha…
That’s why I subscribed for 3 months instead of one month by one month :). Hmmm CC Cream is indeed interesting. I’m more concern about the brand. Hope it’s not some cheapo one LOL.

Yes it is. So far the only edition that I don’t like from Bag Of Love is the month where they give out J&J lotion (Aug edition) lol. 15ml miniature is quite rare 🙂

I was really excited to finally have it in my hands! But of course, me too.. I tried to keep cool but can’t help thanking the person 5x LOL! Yelah, as I was making my way to the counter, I kept thinking “Mesti tak sempat nak redeem ni… It’s a miniature, mesti dah abis ni…” Lo and behold, I was the 7th person!
I must admit though, initially I was kinda torn to make that swap – BOL card for the miniature. Thank God I chose the latter 🙂 Smells so niiiicceeee…
