Last Sunday afternoon, I find myself to be seated at Carlo Rino “Spring Into Summer Dreams” runway show held at Pavilion Pitstop. This is the fifth year Pavilion Kuala Lumpur held the yearly Pavilion Pitstop in conjunction with the 2014 Grand Prix season. I wasn’t at last year Carlo Rino show but this year, I drag my lazy bum out of the house, met up a few friends at the show and had loads of fun!
Before I start, I must apologise in advance for some of the blurry photo. It is not easy to catch these fast moving models. At. All. None the less I managed to captured every single model shot from the beginning of the show till the end 😉
Carlo Rino Spring/Summer 2014 Collection features a fun, feminine, glamours, glitzy and gorgeous trend. If you’ve known Carlo Rino as long as I do, you’ll know that their identity have shifted a bit to cater to younger as well. I still have my first ever black leather Carlo Rino long wallet from my first bf! It was during casual shopping trip that I saw this long wallet that have simplicity all over it. The next thing I know, bf bought it for me. That was almost 10 years ago. So, this new collection cover the entire fashion spectrum for individual that is looking for a look that are classy and more refined but still maintain hints of girlish fun.
Duffle Duffel!
Duffle bag is not out of trend yet. It is made as a perfect casual day out accessory. This one features a uber cute paw prints in vivid yellow, pink, red and black all over the bag.
Sensational Slings
Also another duffle bag style, Sensational Slings features an extra-long chain handles with adjustable width tops and sporty stripes on monochrome red or blue material. Great for fun-day date or casual romantic breakfast.
Beautiful Braids
Features Carlo Rino Signature Print that never goes out of style. The design soften up the pant suit with feminine braids on your bag, that is if wearing braids in your hair is not an option. This collection design is versatile and plenty to choose, from shoulder-slung duffel, back-pack, carry-all or cylinder bag. All of these bag comes with blood-red leather trimmings, silver lining and metal key charms to offset the neutral cream and brown color of the bag.
Cut Out For Love
This collection is especially designed for those who want to stand out from the dressed up crowd. You decide to decked out in laser-cut trimmings on either a blood red or blue. The bag is made from faux patent leather.
Vivacious Valentine
As the name suggest, you might already know this collection have a splash of feminite color and cute quirky designs on it, thanks to the lady bug. It features a faux lock charms on buckles, lady bugs, thread-and-needled designs and also British-inspired knotted rope-and-mailbox motifs to liven up any look. Other touches include adjustable duffle ties and removable straps for ease of use. It comes in shades of pink, pastel grey and yellow on a white base.
This is one of my favourite. This limited edition bag can be used either as shoulder bag or slung across shoulder with a detachable strap. The silver material is definitely one of a kind with touches of blue, beige or salmon Carlo Rino love messages on the sides.
This around-the-world inspired bag features subtle beige leather trimmings, a super-smooth satin body, handy detachable straps for hands-free and wide varieties of color choices to choose from blue-grey to yellow-mustard to burgundy-red and charcoal-black.
The fun and trendy Spring/Summer 2014 collection ended with a round of group walk from all the models.
All of us adjourned to Carlo Rino boutique that was located at Level 4. I’ve been to Carlo Rino counters at departmental stores but have not set my foot to any Carlo Rino boutique before. The boutique is fairly large with ample of space to roam around.
Let me show you around the boutique. I did not managed to take photo of everything because the boutique was quite pack when we first got there. There’s a lot of beautiful shoes all over the boutique that you must take a look if you are at Carlo Rino. I am more interested with shoes and wallet that day 😀
Some of the bags below are the one that was not on the runway. I thought you might be interested!
Have a great Sunday everyone!
