Bobbi Brown Cosmetics announces that Korean model and actress Claudia Kim has partnered with the brand as their first Asian celebrity face exclusively throughout Korea. The partnership will extend to other countries in Asia in July 2015. Model Kate Upton will continue to be the brand’s global spokesperson.
Claudia is a well known Korean model and rising Hollywood actress, starring in the new movie “The Avengers 2: Age of Ultron.” “I’m thrilled to be the first Asian model for this global brand. I have always loved Bobbi’s makeup and have been using her Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner for years. I admire how her products bring out the individual beauty in every woman and how easy she makes it for all women to look and feel their best.” says Kim.
The first iteration of their partnership will appear in late January 2015 editorials, online and in Bobbi Brown Cosmetics counters in Korea for the brand’s signature service: Makeup Lessons. Focusing on service and teaching, the brand empowers women with the right makeup and knowledge to look like themselves only prettier and more confident. Claudia will showcase the Korean inspired beauty makeup looks created by the brand’s K-Beauty Makeup Lessons as well as how-to-videos exclusively on ELLE.kr. These images and videos will help teach Korean women to confidently recreate the looks on themselves. Claudia will also be the face of Bobbi Brown’s seasonal campaign images in the near future.
“The current Korean beauty trends share many similarities with Bobbi’s philosophy: natural, point makeup that focuses on glowing skin. Claudia radiates health, confidence and natural beauty that Asian consumers aspire to,” says Maureen Case, President Bobbi Brown Cosmetics. “We love the idea that Korean women will be able to more easily understand the power of Bobbi’s Makeup Lessons when shown on an Asian face.”
