When I attended the Melvita and L’Occitane luncheon two months ago, I was told that the efficacy of L’Occitane Immortelle 28 Day Divine Renewal Program will be even better if paired with the new Melvita Nectar Supréme The Cream and The Eye & Lip Contour Cream. And so I did.

I cannot stress enough the importance of starting your anti-aging regime at the early age. How early is early? Let’s say early 20s? I started quite late but it was not too late for me as I have oily skin so that sort of prevented all the signs of aging from appearing. I still remember my ex used to tell me the importance of aging and that is to age gracefully. He said I’m one perfect example of aging gracefully. Melvita’s new Nectar Supréme range is made from an unique complex of precious nectar from the beehive by combining Kniphofia nectar with all precious ingredients from the beehive such as the patented complex of three organic honeys, nourishing royal jelly, and beeswax.

Nectar Supréme range is ideal for tired and aged skin that are caused by unhealthy lifestyle by replenishes and provides essential balance to the skin. Do expect to see smoother, illuminated, hydrated and densified skin 😀 . I was told to use this range in the morning routine only. That was easy!

Nectar Supréme The Cream (RM330 / 50ml)

At first glance, this cream seems to be ‘creamy’ and heavy for day time use under makeup. After using it till to date, I can safely tell you it is not heavy at all. I applied this cream on my skin before makeup and I really like how the moisturizing properties keep my skin well hydrated. My skin does not gets oily more than usual.

This cream provides nourishing, moisturizing, smoothing and protective properties to the skin. Basically everything you would ever want in an anti-aging cream. It has a flowery scent to it. Nectar scent I would say. The scent does lingers on for quite a bit if you are using it on it’s own. Under makeup is alright as the makeup will cover the scent. The cream texture is light and airy to touch. On me it is not too oily or tacky. And because I am growing older *ehem*, I like to go generous 😀

Nectar Supréme The Eye & Lip Contour Cream (RM225 / 15ml)

This one right here is an eye and lip contour product. Why lip too? Well, the eyes and the lip are two areas of the face where the skin is constantly moving. For the eyes, this cream helped to reduce the appearance of puffiness. Hence the metal applicator tip. I used the metal tip for the first few times then I decided to change to my fingers instead. For the lip area, I find it to be weird to apply all around the lip area. I gave up after two weeks lol.

It does not have the scent and texture of The Cream. This is somewhat more lighter and does not smell as strong as The Cream as well. I have been using this day and night. I did not see major improvement so far. That is because my under eye area is at a bad state and it is not easy to combat 😀 😀

Overall, if you are looking for a simple anti-aging range without going through tons of products, Melvita Nectar Supréme is the prefect range for you. I like how nourishing The Cream is and that cream alone is already more than enough to keep your skin well protected. The Eye & Lip Contour Cream is a good investment as it is a duo-function product. One product for 2 areas. Why not! 🙂 . But if you don’t feel like using it around your lip area, just skip it and save all the cream for the eyes like I did 😉
