Fans of ASTALIFT Jelly Aquarysta would be happy to know that the brand’s best-selling product now comes with improved formula and a newly designed jar.

FUJIFILM Malaysia, who carries the brand ASTALIFT recently launched the latest version of ASTALIFT Jelly Aquarysta. The brand first made its appearance in 2012 and Jelly Aquarysta has become the epitome of ASTALIFT. Not just in Malaysia but worldwide.

Jelly Aquarysta is a jelly-type beauty essence to help combat skin dryness and to keep skin looking young, radiant, and lustrous using human-type nano ceramide. With the improvised formula, the NEW Jelly Aquarysta now contains TWO human-type nano ceramide to enhance its moisturizing function, which is known as “human-type nano acyl ceramide”. This moisturizing ingredient is the world’s smallest at 20nm-level.

Ceramide holds one of the important role in replenishing and retaining water content inside the skin’s keratin layer to provide optimum hydration. Natural ceramides in the skin decreases with age. The new “human-type nano acyl ceramide” is proven to lock and prevent moisture evaporation by 6 times more than normal acyl ceramide molecules. By using two ceramides in the new Jelly Aquarysta, it further enhances the moisturzing capabilities by 1.6 times more, making the skin barrier function significantly improved by 2.3 times.

The red colour you see on the product is Astaxanthin. Astaxanthin is a red ingredient that gives elasticity and resilience to the skin. The improved version of Jelly Aquarysta features double the amount of nano astaxanthin.

To ensure these two types of ceramides remains in a stable state, an unique jelly texture is used. Just like the old Jelly Aquarysta, the surface of the jelly is able to repair itself and go back to the original smooth and flat state within 1-2 minutes. So don’t be surprised the next time you open the cap and saw the product as if it is still new haha!

If I have to be honest, I am not a fan of the old Jelly Aquarysta formula as it is too sticky for my skin. However, this new one is far more better. All you need is just a little bit of the product and it will smooth out through the whole face. It is definitely lighter texture than the old formulation and not sticky too!

The new jar features a more sophisticated red design with a red spatula. During the media launch, it is said that transparent spatula tend to be hard to find if we ever lost or drop it on the floor BUT the new spatula is now in red and it is much more easier to find. Funny how I find it to be so true!

I like how attention ASTALIFT is. In order to ensure everyone uses the correct amount of product, they included a guide as to how much jelly to use each application on the back of the jar. Thumbs up!

And another new feature of the new ASTALIFT Jelly Aquarysta jar design is the removable refill base. Some countries are selling the refill so if you do encounter the refill for sale, do grab them up as it is more cost effective to just change the refill 🙂
