Last week SK-II gathered all of us for #AuraGoals Party with Yuna for the anticipated launch of GenOptics whitening range at Suria KLCC. KLCC concourse floor once again came alive with the exciting crowd consisting of VIPs and members of the media. This time around, with Yuna fans as well.

Aishah Sinclair hosted the event with the unveiling of GenOptics range video presentation. The launch this time was slightly different. Beauty Bites box containing three boxes of desserts were handed out to everyone. Each boxes represent how sun damage will do or does to your skin. It was not as frightening as it seems as the boxes contain macarons, cupcake, and panna cotta lol.

Denise Loong, SK-II Malaysia Country Trainer always came out with interesting demo on the effectiveness of SK-II products. This time she use bread and a toaster to show us how GenOptics helps to prevent sun damage on our skin.

Initially I was invited to speak at the event for GenOptics, alongside Cosmopolitan Editor, Nisa Halid but I was not ready so I declined the opportunity. JQ Lee took the stage that day to share her experience of using GenOptics Aura and Spot Essences after two weeks.

Celebrity make-up artist Nana of The Face Designer conducted “Unveil Your Inner Aura” workshop by demonstrating how GenOptics is the critical first step to bring out skin’s aura and also a simple everyday makeup.

The highlight of the evening was of course Yuna’s appearance. She performed three songs including her latest single with Usher “Crush”. That song send goosebumps to my skin! At the climax of the song, the sound system power went off. Yuna did not stop. She continued singing without the mic and her fans sang along with her. That was epic 😀

At the end of the party, Yuna and the VIPs including the media toured the #ChangeDestiny World. There was also a flatlay challenge. Me on the other hand went all the way to the back to get myself some juice to quench the thirst.

It was definitely a fun evening beside the sore legs and numb toes lol. Jerine made a surprise attendance driving all the way from Malacca. I have not seen her since my last trip to Malacca.
