I have Bag of Love Facebook set as favourite so whenever Mimi update her Facebook, I would see it first on my Facebook timeline. That is because I do not want to miss any of her bag. So when Bag of Love announced the latest bag on 17th June 2016, I subscribed immediately.
Bag of Love June 2016 Murad Edition as the name says it all, is all about Murad. I love Murad as a brand and their skincare, which is one of the reason why I subscribed. I love that Mimi disclosed the content of the bag so deciding whether to subscribe or not is not a hard thing to do.
The highlight of this Bag of Love June 2016 Murad Edition is the new White Brilliance Porcelain Serum, which was launched not too long ago. The bag comes with six Murad products and vouchers. The sizes of all the skincare products are pretty good. In this bag I got:
- Step 1: Cleanse & Tone – Age Reform AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser 30ml
- Step 2: Targer & Repair – White Brilliance Porcelain Serum 5ml
- Step 3: Hydrate & Protect – Environmental Shield Essential-C Day Moisture SPF30 PA+++ 21ml
The non-skincare Murad items included in the bag are a notebook and two Murad vouchers. One 50% OFF facial treatment and a RM50 cash voucher. I do not like vouchers in general and I am not into facial so who want these let me know!
Bag of Love is a beauty “box” subscription service. As you already know, Bag of Love do not use box for their subscription hence the name Bag of Love. Each time there is a new release, Bag of Love will came out with a pouch. This time the pouch is also from Murad. It is a huge, spacious and very well-made pouch 🙂 . It fits the notebook, eh. I like it!
Now, the disappointing item is also one of the main reason why I subscribed. DwiDwi Jewelry. I know the jewelry are given randomly so I totally understand. I like that the jewelry included comes in a box and a cutesy macaron jewelry box. What disappoints me is that I got a pair of pearl earrings. I hate pearl. The earrings is the clip-on type of earrings. The issue is, I DO NOT LIKE PEARL! Sigh. I wish I got a bracelet, necklace or any other earrings. Even anklet I am fine. JUST NOT PEARL! Lol.
Overall, Bag of Love did not disappoint. I love love loveeeee the 2nd or is it 3rd last bag which comes with Burberry miniature lipstick and a lot more goodies. Until the next Bag of Love!

Seems like this fad has fizzled out almost completely now.
Even Lilac Box has been soooo quiet.
I can do pearl ring or one-pearl bracelet but not pearl earrings lol. Mom literally do not wear any accessories 😛
Yes, you can say that Bag of Love is the only surviving beauty box. I found out there are other box, which came out not too long ago. I forgot the name but I still prefer Bag of Love. Eeee I hate Lilac Box. They guy behind it came out a month or two ago then poof again.
I thought Lilac Box was so ‘atas’ from all the hype they created. then like you said, poof, it disappeared off the radar again. LOL!
They proclaimed themselves as ‘atas’ box. I don’t like the idea of creating a hype then poof, then come back tease the fans, then poof. Like hide and seek.
