Eye care. My favourite subject of all when it comes to skincare. Talika recently unveiled three of its latest new products catering to the eye area – Lipocils Platinum® a day and night serum for the eyelashes, Eyebrow Lipocils Ink a makeup product for the eyebrow and Eye Quintessence®, a day and night eye serum/cream for the eye contour area.

Lipocils Platinum® (RM480, 8.5ml X 2)

Talika’s best-seller Lipocils Expert has gotten a brand new look! When it comes to eyelash growth serum, Talika has more than 60 years of experience in this topic. The previous Lipocils Expert caters to day and night use, now the BRAND NEW Lipocils Platinum comes in two tubes, with a completely separate tube for day and night.

Day Serum
The day serum wand has duo-applicator. The mascara brush to distribute the serum evenly onto each eyelashes strand while the sponge tip is for the eyelash base application to stimulate growth. It has Lipocils Mythical Plant Complex which works to stimulate the growth of eyelashes for length and thickness. Silk Extract on the other hand forms a film to protect the eyelashes from external aggression. Mascara applied on thereafter will be more resistance. In another word, this serum works as mascara base as well.

Night Serum
Same as the day serum, it has Lipocils Mythical Plant Complex which works to stimulate the growth of eyelashes for length and thickness. Red Clover Flower in the serum awakens the eyelashes by shortening their inactivity phase and nudge them to continue the growth phase. As a result, your lashes does not stop growthing and you will have visibly more lashes! It comes with a slim brush tip applicator for the root of the lashes.

Eyebrow Lipocils Ink (RM95, 0.8ml)

Now that we have covered the eyelashes, let’s move to the eyebrow. A perfectly shaped eyebrow requires a good brow product. And of course you got to have the skill too 😀 . Talika never stop surprising me. They even come out with Eyebrow Lipocils Ink, a skincare-infused makeup product for the brow.

Besides eyelashes growth, Talika is also known for their expertise in eyebrow growth products. At one glance, this looks like a normal eyebrow product that fills in the blank space. But, this is more than that. Eyebrow Lipocils Ink is a skincare-infused makeup product. It stimulates the growth of eyebrows and redefine the eyebrow line as well.

It contains Mythical Liposourcils Plant Complex to stimulate eyebrow growth, making them thicker, stronger and fills spars eyebrows. Peptide Expert, an anti-aging ingredient in the serum improves the bulb cells quality to promote ‘the anchoring’ of the root, preventing any fall. Coleus gives the brow a natural pigment also stimulates the synthesis of melanin. It comes in two shades but for Malaysia, the shade Brown is more suitable.

As this is more watery, layering on to get the shade and opacity you want is recommended. Once it is on, it stays put. Extremely waterproof and smudgeproof as well so removing with a proper makeup remover is a must.

Eye Quintessence® (RM275, 10ml X 2)

Now this day and night eye serum and cream caught my attention! It is a duo product in a single bottle. Eye Quintessence® is an eye care for the eye contour area. It has serum and cream so that one do not have to choose between a serum and a cream. You get to use both, alternating between day and night.

Protective Day Cream
Remember Photo-Beauty technology for Talika’s first skincare range? The day cream for the eyes also comes with Light + Photo-Beauty Enzyme to help repair altered DNA found in cutaneous cells cause by UV rays. It also works in boosting all cellular functions. Escine in the cream stimulates microcirculations to prevent dark circles and puffiness. Vitamin B3 reduces the forces of dark spots associated with aging and illuminates the eye contour. Weirdly enough, it has something called the Konjac Fibres for hydration to plumps and provide an immediate lifting effect.

Ultra-Concentrated Night Serum
Something new – St. Paul Wort Extract in the night care serum are added to stimulate collagen and elastin synthesis, smoothes lines and wrinkles in the crow’s feet. Light + Photo-Beauty Enzyme and Light + Photo-Beauty Hydra helps to repair DNA and improve hydration deep into the heart of the cells for an anti-oxidant action. To protect from aging and external aggressions such as pollution and tobacco, Silk Tree Extract was added in as well.
