Q-pot., with a capital Q, small letter p and a full stop at the end is a well-known brand in Japan is hitting Malaysia this week! More on that in a second blog post later today so keep an eye on this page for more info 😉 . I met up with the lovely Nanami from Q-pot. last week, who flew in all the way from Japan. I did not think much when I was contacted by Q-pot. through Instagram. When Nanami asked if I heard of Q-pot., I said no. But when she showed me this Q-pot. mook, I jumped. Immediately I recognized the logo. Of course I known of Q-pot. Why did I said no, eh? I was confused lol. Then it hit me. I am meeting and talking to THE Q-pot. THE Q-pot.!

Not sure if you remember the time where I was very much into Japanese mook and magazines. Mook stands for book + magazine is a yearly production for any Japanese brand. I was told that Q-pot. only produces two mooks in a year which are categorized by season – Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter. This Q-pot. Seasonal Look Book Melty Strawberry Chocolate is Autumn/Winter edition.

Generally the items included in a mook are more well-made than those in magazine albeit some could be vice versa. It really depends. I cannot say the same for all. However this Q-pot. Seasonal Look Book Melty Strawberry Chocolate mook comes with a top notch well-made sling bag. The theme of this Autumn/Winter mook is melty stawberry chocolate, which translated onto the sling bag. The way I look at it, it is melting chocolate on a strawberry 😀

The sling bag included in the Q-pot. Seasonal Look Book Melty Strawberry Chocolate mook is said to be a 4-way bag. There is even a picture guide in the mook to show you four different ways on how you can use the bag. I personally am using it most as sling bag, and occasionally as a shoulder bag 🙂

The bag measures at 21cm Width, 14.5cm Height, 5cm Diameter and it comes with a 130.5cm strap. I have no idea what material was used but if you can touch it, you will agree that it is made from a good leather-like material. There are no flaws on the bag at all, which I am happy with. Usually mass produced bag like these freaks me out a little bit because there tend to be some flaws, stains or bumps here and there. This one, none.

The inside of the bag are properly lined and it has two inner pockets as well. Once again, I was surprised to see that even the lining of the bags are well-made. Oh and no funky leather smell as well.
