Growing up, I never like receiving flowers. I have a strict policy that you can gift me anything but teddy bear and flowers. Sometimes I think I am a man! 😛 . It is only recent year that I started to appreciate having flowers around me. Then I started buying flowers for my room everytime I sees them at shopping mall. Last week a beautiful bouquet of Gerbera Daisies arrived my doorstep from Flower Chimp. I am one indecisive girl. I complain if there are less choice and get headache if I had too much choices. Firstly, calm down. You have to think carefully what is the flowers for and budget. Once I selected what I wanted, I started looking at the choices available and then I found it! I wanted something colorful, something that can instantly brighten my room, something that lasts and something that makes me smile. Youthful it is.
The good thing about getting a bouquet from Flower Chimp is that you are given a choice of ordering with a vase or without a vase. The cost for the vase varies. In this case it is at an affordable RM29. Pretty good if you ask me. I would recommended getting the vase if you are giving this to someone else so that the recipient do not need to search high and low in his or her kitchen for a vase.
Add the bouquet to your shopping cart and note down a personal message if you want to. You can even opt to put a different sender’s name. Lastly, you can even take charge with the delivery date, which I think is a plus point if you want your flower to be delivered at a specific day 🙂
You do not need to register for an account if you don’t want to. Just check out as guest but the recipient’s delivery information are needed from you.
As for the payment, Flower Chimp offers a few option such as PayPal, online bank transfer using MOL Pay and manual bank transfer.

When the delivery guy arrived my house, I stood there waiting and saw that he carefully retrieved the bouquet out of the box, re-adjust the flowers and mist them with some water before handing it over to me. It came wrapped with a plastic on the outside and there are water underneath at the stem. My advice is to be careful with the water as mine spilled all over my car when I brought the bouquet out for a few photos lol. You can never get as clumsy as me haha!
