KENS Apothecary never ceases to amaze me. Their store had already make me feel like a kid being in a candy store and now they brought in even more ‘candy’.
Grown Alchemist, a brand from Australia that I have heard friends talking about it before has finally made available in Malaysia and it is only available at KENS Apothecary stores. It is a brand founded and owned by two brothers – Keston and Jeremy Muijs, who both flew in to the press launch event. Jeremy, gave us a brand introduction on how and why they started the brand. He spoke passionately about working with natural-organic ingredients, about the science behind the ingredients and how they complement each other. I like all things complicated or scientifically so I was in awe.
It all begins with the founders alarmed by the harm of traditional skincare formulations after a friend of theirs had an adverse reaction whilst undergoing cancer treatment to almost every beauty products. The rest is history. Grown Alchemist was born. But only with a mandate of using nothing but only healthy scientifically advanced cell communicating ingredients such as Neuro-Peptides, Tetra-Peptides, Tocotrienols, and advanced hydration actives.
