Good Lord! That is one mouthful product name 😀 . Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Talc-Free All-in-1 ABC Cushion Foundation. Yes, that is the product name.

Catching up with the cushion trend, American makeup brand, which is also my favourite American drugstore brand – Physicians Formula, recently launched the Mineral Wear Talc-Free All-in-1 ABC Cushion Foundation in Malaysia. We are not too far behind from the actual US launch. Just a few months back so we are all good! The Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Talc-Free All-in-1 ABC Cushion Foundation has quickly became one of the most talked about cushion foundation ever since its release in the US. Physicians Formula is a brand that focuses on healthy makeup other than their uber cute packaging so right off the bat the its loyal fans already knew it is good.

Before I bring you the Beauty News, let’s just refer this as the ABC Cushion, aight? Now that we got that covered, first of all, this ABC Cushion is THE FIRST EVER mineral cushion foundation. I did asked at the event if this is a foundation or a BB Cream. I was told that the ABC Cushion is a foundation with BB benefits. It took me a minute trying to figure, imagine, calculate and analyse all the scientific formula in my brain like Einstein but I know what it meant. Think about it 😀

Look at the pores! Not your pores but the pores on ABC Cushion! 😀 Okay. That was a lame joke. Now, you must be wondering what is ABC and why there is an ABC in the name? ABC for this cushion stands for Airbrushing, Blurring and Correcting. This Mineral Wear Talc-Free All-in-1 ABC Cushion Foundation is designed to give a skin-perfecting, flawless finishing hence the Airbrushing claim. The coverage based on the demo I watched at the event also shows the Blurring effect. Yes, you do walk around looking like photoshopped a little bit 😀 . Mineral makeup are known to be giving the most natural makeup of all and that is exactly what this product do.

It also has soothing plant extracts, soothing anti-oxidants and nourishing vitamins for the rich moisturizing and brightening effect. I know this sounds intimidation – moisturizing and brightening combined together. That is also my concern. Is this a matte or dewy cushion foundation? The answer is this is a product in between matte and dewy. The moisturizing + brightening  benefits does give the skin the healthy glow BUT definitely not Korean dewy or oily looking. It looked matte and at the same time moisturize looking.

This ABC Cushion does have SPF 50 Broad Spectrum Sunscreen in it but that does not mean you can skip your sunblock. Any beauty blogger will tell you that you will still need to apply your sunblock beforehand. And no, the SPF 50 in this makeup product will not make your skin look cakey, heavy or oilier.

The product demo on the model is interesting to watch. We saw how a light layer of product was applied onto her skin with only setting the T-zone area and she does not look too matte and there was zero sign of oiliness on her skin. She looked flawless.
