Kim Kardashian West surprised us with the launch of her own beauty line – KKW Beauty just a few weeks ago. She had a big launch at her LA home where all beauty influencers in the industry were invited, which was to everyone’s surprise as Kim has been keeping her life more private after Paris robbery. The question is, is KKW Beauty hot or not?

I am a fan of Kim. Comparing now with her previous heavy makeup days, she is more focusing on healthy, beautiful skin. And I have been watching her videos on her putting on makeup. Her first product for KKW Beauty is Créme Contour and Highlight Kit, which reportedly 300,000 kits were sold out within a few hours. These products are made with one thing in mind; quick and easy makeup do.

KKW Beauty Créme Contour and Highlight Kit was launched with four shades – Light, Medium, Dark and Deep Dark. Just in case you are wondering, Kim uses the shade Medium and Dark, alternating both on certain areas of her face. Based on the videos she had posted in her website, it seems easy to use and the shades are beautiful.

BUT, is everything all good? I would like to say yes. In actual fact, it is not. A Créme Contour and Highlight Kit would cost you $48. Each kit comes with a dual-ended contour stick and dual-ended highlighter (one matte and one shimmer highlight) and a dual-ended blending brush and sponge. Not too bad I say and the reviews has been good so far. That was until I saw the actual product size.

IT IS REALLY TINY.

The packaging looked normal and in decent size. But once you twist the product up, it is just a teeny weeny little product. For people who uses a lot of contour product, this will run out fast as I read that the stick is quite soft and creamy. Understandably for easy blending. That means you will tend to apply a lot on the face.

Hot or not depends on each person. Not all things are 100% pros. There tend to be some con. Since we can’t get KKW Beauty here, I’d like to say it’s HOT for me 😀

So, what’s next for KKW Beauty? Kim said in an interview that she will be releasing concealer kit soon. She has been working on the right formula for a few years now. We shall see if that is Hot or Not eh?
