Surpriseeeee! Maybe not 😛 . I mean, you already know I am launching this limited Love Face X #IWillBeOkay collaboration box ever since I mentioned it on my Instagram. I wanted to have another beauty bag/box after the last beauty bag for campaign #2 and I know planning for one would take 3-6 months time so I asked Love Face if they would collaborate with me and it’s a YES. If you’re still wondering who and what is Love Face, you may read all about them at this post, which I’ve written not long ago. Basically Love Face is the one and only website focusing on all Taiwanese beauty brands. Their main focus is sheet mask and so our collaboration is a box full with sheet masks from Taiwan.

This is a whirlwind idea I had last week as I was raising fund for #IWillBeOkay ‘Fight Against Depression’ Awareness Campaign through the sale of excess #IWillBeOkay Trail Hike T-shirt and PUMA goodie bag (read here). In between my quarterly campaign, I thought why not slot in some ad hoc out of the blue fund raising initiative and at the same time make more space for my future shopping 🙂 . I may not have the money but I do have a lot of beauty products. My mini Sephora at home is getting out of hand and I am having a break down looking at it. I love my home Sephora and I also find it hard for me to part ways with them. Rather than giving it away randomly to friends and family who do not appreciate it as much as I do, I do hope I can sell it off and raise fund for my #IWillBeOkay campaign. Each bag is accompanied by my Limited Edition #IWillBeOkay jute bag, which I had it printed exclusively for my #IWillBeOkay Beauty Bag. These are the last few bags I have. As usual, all profit goes to #IWillBeOkay fund which will help with future campaign and events. My lost is your gain!
Bag 1 – RM200 (worth RM966.50)
I know what you are thinking. You must be thinking…the same park again Fiona? That’s right! #IWillBeOkay Beauty Bag went for some sun bathing yesterday afternoon at the same park I run. I love the sun. Don’t you? 🙂
After months and months of preparing, I had a bitter sweet moment when I finally had #IWillBeOkay Beauty Bag ready. It was supposed to be launched in August, then dragged to September, to October and November. Many have told me to just give up and that no sponsors will be supporting this but I proved them wrong. Despite the bad economy and how bad the retail economy has gone, there are still a handful of wonderful, caring, supportive, absolutely are warm-hearted about charity and generous people out there. #IWillBeOkay Beauty Bag are made possible thanks to these amazing proud sponsors – Murad Malaysia, Physicians Formula Malaysia, TNS Skin Lab, Breena Beauty, Mini Mini Cafe, Clinivita, Parkson, Batiste Malaysia, and Watsons Malaysia.
I have Bag of Love Facebook set as favourite so whenever Mimi update her Facebook, I would see it first on my Facebook timeline. That is because I do not want to miss any of her bag. So when Bag of Love announced the latest bag on 17th June 2016, I subscribed immediately.
To be honest I kinda miss the time where there is two handful of beauty box subscription service. Sadly the hype died down after just over a year of chaos. There is one that still stood strong. It is none other than Bag Of Love. Despite changing its monthly subscription service to bi-monthly, Bag Of Love is here to stay for sure.
Here is the content for Bag Of Love “Necessities” July/August 2014 Edition for you to salivate for a while before we get into details on the products included in the bag 😀
If you recall back in November 2013, I went all out and purchase four sets of Bag Of Love “Go, Girl, Go!” November 2013 Edition because I found out the content by accident. I was expecting something from Levi’s but never thought it’s a cute little denim tote bag. So when the hint for July/August bag was disclosed in the Facebook, I knew Levi’s is on board. Again, never in my mind would I expect ANOTHER Levi’s tote bag! This time the tote is a canvas beige bag. The material is harder and thicker than the denim version. I did hesitate a bit in subscribing as it’s in beige but I’m more into the content this time round and it’s only RM39.90 so I got myself one.
Oh wow. It’s been a while since I last subscribed for any Bag Of Love. My last subscription is still my favourite bag of all, which is the Bag Of Love “Go, Girl, Go!” November 2013 Edition. I tried stopping myself from beauty box but failed badly but at that time I’ve determined so I stopped all beauty box/bag simultaneously as I was running out of space to store all the samples. Even though so I still follow Bag Of Love Facebook page closely (just in case I like the teaser). And I did!
Bag Of Love “Stay Beautiful and Read On” March/April 2014 Edition is Bag Of Love’s first bi-monthly subscription bag. They have decided to take things slow and changed the usual monthly subscription to bi-monthly. What this mean is you will no longer be able to subscribe for their bag monthly. This doesn’t impact me a bit as I don’t subscribe that much.
This edition’s bag/pouch is a huge one. According to MiMi the owner you can even fit books in it. I suppose you can judging from the size. However I’m still not a fan of pouches and bags. Up till today my favourite is still the denim Levi’s tote bag.
