Dolce&Gabbana The One and The One for Men Collector’s Edition: A matchy match complementing fragrance for both men and women

Christmas this year is extra special and a joyous for me when these two heaven smelling Dolce&Gabbana The One and The One for Men Collector’s Edition reached my doorstep a few weeks ago. I’ve wore no other perfume but this since then and I even made my brother to use it and tell me what he thinks! Talking about taking control on how man smells lol.

A few months ago Dolce&Gabbana The One and The One For Men Limited Edition was launched for it’s 2014 lineup and to coincide with the holidays, Dolce&Gabbana The One and The One for Men Collector’s Edition (which is the duo you’re reading now) is released. There is no other best time to gift fragrance to your loved ones but Christmas.

It’s not really just for the holidays and all. Dolce&Gabbana is celebrating the timeless elegance of The One and The One for Men by releasing the Collector’s Edition. You can easily differentiate which is for who although both of the bottle only state “The One” on the front. This limited edition bottle is interpreted as Dolce&Gabbana passionate red for the women while deep rich brown for the men. I was figuring out which should be mine without realizing the perfect color coordination. Of course the red is for girl. Silly me 😛

It felt like ages since my last fragrance review isn’t it. I was told that reviewing fragrance is one of the toughest because we all have different body chemistry and different scent preference. In another word, what I like may not be what you will like and vice versa 😀 . Tell you a secret. I kinda enjoy reviewing fragrances. I mean, I am afterall just telling you what I think about the fragrance ON ME 🙂 . As simple as that.

Usually press releases came into my email inbox even before the fragrance does. As you already know, I would be more than happy to post these info up. This time around I’ve gotten my hands on the soon-to-be (I got this in August) launch BOSS MA VIE Pour Femme Eau de Parfum even before the press release reaches my email inbox. I am a fan of HUGO BOSS Pour Femme line and I was expecting to love this new one too.

Having to already own a bottle of BOSS NUIT Pour Femme a few months ago, I can already prepare myself for what to come – elegant, womenly, inspiration and confidence scent. Knowing that Gwyneth Paltrow, the ambassador for BOSS JOUR and BOSS NUIT is once again elected to be the ambassador for BOSS MA VIE Pour Femme confirmed my suspicious that the scent is going to be as good as the rest in the line. BOSS MA VIE Pour Femme completes the trio and reveals a new dimension to the BOSS woman.

As Gwyneth Paltrow said it, it’s always nice to buy somebody a fragrance that he/she never try before or his/her favorite because perfume is a luxury gift, it’s personal and it’s nice time to try something new. It’s always nice to gift or receive one as a Christmas present 😀 . Although Gwyneth is not the brand ambassador for Gucci and I’m merely just quoting her, I have to agree with her on gifting someone with a fragrance.

This year, I happen to receive one fragrance that I never tried before. It really makes me happy to unwrap the present to find a bottle of Gucci Guilty EDT.

Not straying too far away from “fragrance” topic but I’m going to share with you my thoughts on a new fragrance for men – Burberry Brit Rhythm. Yes.
