Maybelline White Superfresh Long Lasting UV Cake Powder: Doesn’t impress me much

Most people I know are into liquid foundation and my weakness has always been face powder. It is the one out of the few makeup item I go through like no other’s business. I absolutely hate the sticky feeling of liquid foundation and I just cannot leave the house without dusting powder all over my face. Truth to be told, I was patiently waiting for L’Oreal Mat Magique to be made available in Malaysia several months ago after watching the review on it from ClickNetwork on YouTube. Boy I was sold! So when Maybelline out of the blue launched the White Superfresh Long Lasting UV Cake Powder, I was intrigued but not intrigued enough to make a purchase. L’Oreal finally launched Mat Magique just a tad bit later than Maybelline and this curious cat was so tempted to know what’s the dealio with the two. I finally bought the Maybelline White Superfresh Long Lasting UV Cake Powder when Watsons was offering a RM3 off from RM23.90 lol.

Would I thought of buying this if it’s not for the discount? No. I wouldn’t even thought about buying it. I have been reading lots of mix review on this product which explains why I have a reserve on this.

SENKA Mineral UV Essence SPF50 PA++++: First anti-aging sunscreen that is light on the skin with superior protection

Nobody like a higher SPF sunscreen that feels sticky on the skin. I certainly don’t. I stopped using sunscreen that are anything higher than SPF35 a few months ago where my face is relatively much more oilier than it was before. I’m very much into applying sunscreen on my face no matter what therefore to completely stop using sunscreen just because it’s sticky is not an option for me. I can live without cream base moisturizer but not sunscreen.

Nothing makes me happier than receiving sunscreen product. For some reason I’m obsessed with trying out all the sunscreen products available. I think we should all gift everyone sunscreen for all occassion lol. Enough of the rambling. Let’s see if SENKA Mineral UV Essence SPF50 PA++++ fits the bill for me shall we?

Although it is made available to consumers through retailing at drugstores nationwide, do no underestimate its quality and efficacy. You get the same if not better quality as any premium or counter brands. I always said it and I’m going to say it again. Japanese made the best skincare products. Don’t you agree? 😉

Interestingly, when I attended one beauty sharing session last year, one of the attendee said that her face oils up very fast. Purederm Anti-Wrinkle Gel Patches: Temporary solution to reducing under eye fine lines and wrinkles

I’m in a state where I’m obsessed with a few beauty products at the moment. You will see the pattern in the next coming reviews but let me just start with one obsession today – under eye treatment.

Although I don’t have signs of aging on my face *touch wood*, I do have ONE that has been bothering me for years. That is the nasty long fine lines on my under eye. I just hate it when no eye cream can keep my under eye properly hydrated to minimize fine lines appearance and I absolutely hate it when my powder and concealer crease on the fine lines. So I thought of a solution to use under eye treatment mask every morning before makeup. I’m testing out a few different eye mask at the moment. My current favourite (as of today, can’t say about tomorrow) is Purederm Anti-Wrinkle Gel Patches.

When it comes to under eye mask treatment, I am willing to go all the way. I don’t mind spending a bit as long as it works. I tried searching in Sephora but to no avail. One place I knew that would have under eye mask is Watsons. I was right. The varieties of under eye mask there is amazing. I settled with Purederm Anti-Wrinkle Gel Patches in the end because (1) Purederm is one of my favourite brand, (2) it’s cheaper, (3) I haven’t heard of the rest before and (4) it has “best selling anti-wrinkle patch” printed on. Yeah I know…I fell for claims on the box LOL.

When a parcel containing Men’s Bioré Double Scrub Acne Solution Facial Foam arrived my doorstep a month ago, my mind was racing trying to get my heads around on how am I suppose to review a facial foam that is meant for men. I am a.b.s.o.l.u.t.e.l.y obsessed with winged eyeliner-do. It’s funny I said that because one year ago, I know nuts about eyeliner what more drawing one! Let’s face it.
