A few years ago I bought a copy of Marie Claire April 2011 as it comes with a tube of Burt’s Bees Beeswax Lip Balm. I have heard so much rave on the lip balm so I bought it. Maybe the tube I had had gone bad or whatsoever because it taste awful and I totally dislike the dry texture. I threw that away and never went back to Burt’s Bees for their highly raved lip balm. Earlier this year, I needed a new lip balm for night time so I went to Sephora to look for one and decided to give Burt’s Bees a second chance. I bought Burt’s Bees Beeswax Lip Balm Tin.
Burt’s Bees Beeswax Lip Balm comes in two type of packaging, the normal tube or the one in a small metal tin. My room is quite hot in the mid day and most lip balm I had melted with such heat circulating in the room. I figure I would like the one that comes in a small tin. Plus it’s cute so why not 😀
Burt’s Bees Beeswax Lip Balm is the original lip balm that’s been around since 1991. This small tin contain 8.5g of product while the tube only contain 4.25g of product. Price wise, it’s the same. I bought the tin version for RM22 while the tube version cost RM22 as well. RM22 may sound like a hefty price to pay for just a lip balm comparing to drugstore brand that only cost slightly over RM10 for a 4.5g, isn’t it?
