What I love about Clarins is their annual We Care initiative in bringing a better life for the community in need. This year, Clarins Malaysia held a Clarins Values Day and every of their employees took a day off and headed to the Orang Asli children of Pusat Pengalak Pembaca Batu 12 Gombak, a pre-school, Gombak to restore and refurbished a previously abandoned playground for the children. Mind you this playground was abandoned for more than 15 years!
When Laneige started their CSR program – Waterful Sharing Campaign a few years ago, they wanted to provide clean water to villages but have no idea how. This year 2016, Laneige Malaysia finally able to thanks to a collaboration with Global Peace Foundation (GPF), an international non-profit organisation. Waterful Sharing Campaign 2016 will be offering water relief to 500 orang asli residents living in the remote areas of Kampung Binjai, Pahang and Kampung Ulu Geruntum, Perak.
It was lots of fun at Estée Lauder Pink Charity Ride 2015 which was held last Saturday 17th October at Mid Valley Megamall. I could not sleep at all probably due to excitement, that I needed to wake up early or it could be the coffee I had at 5pm the day before. Since I do not really sleep that much these days (or rather not sleeping at all), I took a light breakfast at home at 4am (crazy, I know) as I was a bit hungry. I left my house at 5.30am and reached Mid Valley at 6am.
For some odd reasons, the road was pretty busy at 5.30am on a Saturday. When I was nearing Mid Valley, it gotten busier. The mall surrounding was ‘lively’ and so does the basement parking. I saw happy sights of participants prepping their bikes and testing their bikes around the parking lot.
I registered myself, took some coffee and walked to the Start of the ride. I wish I could tell you the feeling I had at that time. The surrounding was full with excitement, happy and supportive participants. Lots of positive energy and vibes around me. None the less, I was at the right place at the right time.

People say, laughter is the best medicine. Harith Iskander said “To Know Malaysia Is To Laugh Malaysia!”. I say high five to the King of Malaysian comedy! That brings us to today’s topic. No, I’m not going to be the one to go up stage and do stand up comedy. I have stage fright remember? I’ll leave the tough job to Harith Iskander and his friends.
There’s a great meaning to how this show came about. 2014 is no doubt the toughest year so far for the country and to every Malaysians. There has been so much tragedy which happened one by one and so Harith Iskander came out with this great idea to gather the nation as one through true Malaysian-styled comedy and humour!
