I found out about this great promotion from a website that I gotta visit everyday. I missed previous promotion which was just in January. Although my office is in Mid Valley but I don’t get to sneak out all the time to shop. So I decided to buy a shoe on Sunday!

While I was washing my car on Saturday, postman came and handed me a mail. This came just in time! Padini sent me a RM50 Rebate Voucher!! Thank goodness this mail came before my purchase.

So I headed to Mid Valley to buy a shoe from Vincci. This pump was retailing at RM99 and is on 10% discount making the total RM89.10. I redeemed my RM50 Rebate Voucher making the balance to pay is RM39.10. How great is this. To me the 10% discount was a bonus as I didn’t know it was on sale.

After all the drama of running around town between KLCC and Mid Valley (read here), I finally redeemed my free gift from Clinique Service Centre.

Crazy Day

What a crazy and nonsense day I had today. Traveling from Kajang -> Mid Valley -> KLCC -> Mid Valley again -> Kajang is just nonsense.

First stop. . .Mid Valley.
I needed to pick up my Doll Lash eyelash curler rubber replacement courtesy of Empro and to buy a Vincci shoe as I have a RM50 rebate voucher plus they have free Clinique stuff.

I picked up my Doll Lash eyelash curler rubber replacement first and waited for Vincci to open their store. Then I got myself a black pump and paid just RM39.10 after 10% discount and RM50 rebate. After that I headed to Clinique Service Centre (newly open) to redeem my free gift BUT was told redemption will only start after 12noon?? What the hell is wrong with people nowadays with the norm of using the phrase “redemption will only start after 12noon”. It’s not stated in promotional flyer and I was lazy to argue so what the heck.

Main reason is to get my Sisley Paris free gift and collect my reserved Mina April 2011 issue. But ended up getting this oversize clutch when I was about to enter Isetan. Sisley BA tried to sell me their “best-seller” which is a mask which is around RM200+? After that she tried conning me to buy their trial kit which is even more expensive at RM300+++. I just bought Clarins products a few days earlier and it’s impossible that I would spend another 300 to buy some product which I didn’t even know existed. Also I hated the smell.

Then I rushed back to Mid Valley at 11.30am to pick up my free gift from Clinique. Really waste of time, petrol, parking fees. If redemption starts at 12noon, they should state in the brochure! I think they’re just fooling me around. I shall email Clinique on this.

Freebies “Haul” Week (Clinique) – Part 2

Let’s see…

Last Wednesday I’ve gotten 2 packets of the new Nescafe 3-In-1 coffee & 2 bottle of Johnson’s & Johnson’s Body Care 24 Hours Long Lasting Body Lotion sample from my mail (original post here).

The next day I’ve got Lancome Genifique 7-Day Routine sample set (original post here).

On Friday, I finally went to my appointment for a makeover at Clinique counter in order to receive the below freebies for FREE! I found out about this from Clinique newsletter and appointment + consultation is needed.

The BA was shocked to see me arriving with full makeup. Well of course I’d be in full makeup as I was working. I actually sneak out in the middle of chaos in the office for this. The BA wanted to remove ALL my makeup and redo again but I stopped her. So in the end we agreed with some touch-ups and that alone took me about 40 minutes.

This is what I got.

A 7 Day Scrub Cream 30ml & a Lash Power Mascara 1.5ml in trial size.

Clinique Great at Any Age

Sometime last week, I received the e-newsletter from Clinique. I simply love Clinique as they offer sampling freebies for their new products or when they have special theme or promotions.
Special theme this time is Great at Any Age.

Couldn’t agree more.

Maybe age is catching up and looking good all the time is the main priority nowadays in my daily life.

Upon receiving Clinique e-newsletter I went online to their website, fill in the form and the mCoupon was sent to my mobile! It’s that easy.

As I was busy running around for Motor Trader Special Feature, I only managed to go to Metrojaya Mid Valley in the evening to redeem my 2pcs of free treats worth RM62.


What I was REALLY REALLY excited about is that I get to choose either Superdefense SPF 25/PA+++ Age Defense Moisturizer or Repairwear Contour Firming Formula. Obviously I chose Repairwear Contour Firming Formula lol.
Now wait for the best part! The BEST part is I get to have the mini Lash Power Mascara!! The only mascara which I always wanted since I gotten one about 5 years ago. I love love love this mascara. That is why I didn’t buy the normal size pack lol. But I would buy one of course cause it’s a very good mascara which WILL NOT make you have panda eyes or smear! The only way to remove this mascara is by warm water which you can do it during your shower. Cool huh!!

The Repairwar Contour is AWESOME. It’s a sticky cream type BUT when you put it on your face and start massaging into your skin, it turns to a watery type of sensation and then turns to a velvety feel! I must say I’m very impressed with this product. I woke up the next morning with a firm and tight cheek! Definately a good buy in the future.
