I had the pleasure of visiting The Body Shop new concept store at Suria KLCC two weeks ago, whereas the old store was relocated to the lot next to the escalator on Concourse level (previously Swatch store). Besides exploring the new store, I also had the opportunity to check out The Body Shop Summer 2016 collection release – the highly anticipated (by me that is) Piñita Colada collection and Polynesian Island Tiaré collection. Both tropical body care range are Limited Edition release, which means once it is sold out that would be it. And also a brand new sunscreen – Skin Defence Multi-Protection Essence SPF50 to add into Drop Of Light range.

HARNN, a renowned Asian inspired brand from Thailand is now available at selected Parkson stores. The brand now has exclusive concept shops and flagship stores in 14 countries, with a total of 51 stores. As for Malaysia, you may now find HARNN at Parkson IOI City Mall, Pavilion, Gurney Paragon Mall, and One Utama (coming in July 2016).
A little bit of history of HARNN. HARNN Natural Home Spa was started back in 1999. Its first collection launch was a line of natural soap using Rice Bran Oil, which was later on patented in 2004.
One glance at HARNN setup, I notice the mixture of traditional and modern. That is because the brand itself are proud of its Asian heritage and they want to share cultural richness of Asia with the rest of the world. Hence creating one of the kind lifestyle concept, which indirectly reflects sophistication, contemporary, and luxury of Asian lifestyle. The interior space are decorated with ancient art objects in accordance with contemporary art concept that is luxurious, complicated but yet reachable. Overall layout theming around colors and the play of light are implemented to promote the entire enchantment.
Another distinctive identity of HARNN is of course the aromatic scent, which you could smell from far away 😀 . It is very “Thai”, I would say. Their range of products uses pure precious essential oils to create these wonderful fragrance as well as aromatherapy properties.
Apart from HARNN products, there are two brand new range, VUUDH home interior fragrance collection and TICHAA organic white mulberry herbal infusion from under the same company.
The most intriguing product of all? This. Crystals inside the perfume bottle. How interesting!

More and more Korean skincare brand being launched in Malaysia, particularly last month. One minute we only have one handful, the next minute there is one new brand being launch almost everyday!
CRYSTAL MOIST, a new masstige skincare line formulated and made in Korea by Guardian Malaysia was launched last month. I think most of us are not aware that Guardian actually do comes out with their own brand. CRYSTAL MOIST is their 3rd or 4th baby if I am not mistaken. This new line only focuses on two main concern – Hydration with their HYDRA ION+ range, and Brightening with their BRIGHT ION+ range. The brand main selling point is that they combine unique ingredients to precious mineral complexes, together with the powerful nutrients of the Korean Deep Ocean Water.
The Plant Base, a brand new skincare brand launched recently launches Nature Solution range. The range is a solution for stressed skin with the assurance of ECOCERT certified ingredients. ALBION, one of the most traditional and well-known skincare brand from Tokyo Japan landed in Malaysia last month with the official launch of the brand and its first beauty counter at Isetan KLCC. Interestingly, when I found out months ago that ALBION will be launching soon in Malaysia, I have no idea the brand was THIS HUGE. And shockingly, ALBION is known by everyone I know, even friends who are ignorant with the beauty industry knew about ALBION. How is that possible??!! Beats me lol 😀
