Hatta Dolmat unveiled his stunning haute couture Festive Collection at SK-II Limited Edition Festive Facial Treatment Essence Collection launch

When I received an invitation to attend Hatta Dolmat’s unveiling of his haute couture Festive Collection at SK-II Limited Edition Festive Facial Treatment Essence launch, I said yes within a minute. I adore Hatta Dolmat’s couture design since I got to know about him during my ohbulan.com time. If you are still scratching your head trying to figure out who Hatta Dolmat is, he is one of the hottest award winning designers in Malaysia. Still unsure? Google is your best friend 😀

The event took place at SK-II #ChangeDestiny Garden in Suria KLCC Centre Court.

Hatta put his creative magic touch to design 10 signature couture gowns including a breath-taking bridal gown as the finale to his showcase. All his designs are inspired by the beautiful, vibrant colours of Tulip, Hydrangea, Freesia and Green Cypress, which all are the flowers used by Taiwanese artist, Poh Chih Huang for SK-II Limited Edition Festive Collection. Did you know that Tony Moly has been in Malaysia for the past 4 years? Frequent shopper of Sg. Wang Plaza would probably know because the previous distributor company had an outlet there but being someone who doesn’t step a foot into Sg. Wang Plaza, I have no idea at all. All these while I’ve been stalking Tony Moly products through other online reseller but never once have I order anything as I wasn’t sure if it’s authentic or imitation products.

Yesterday, Indispensable Beauty Sdn Bhd who is one of Tony Moly Malaysia’s franchisee held a grand opening of their first flagship store strategically located at Pavilion KL. If you’ve been walking around Pavilion for the past two weeks or so, you would have notice the store at 5th floor.

Aveda brings back the nature through the introduction of Invati™ and a mini workshop on creating a mini indoor garden

It’s Friday today and we all know what that means. It’s going to be a lazy day for most people and that includes me. I wouldn’t want to put up something heavy so let me tell you about an interesting event by Aveda that I went to last Friday. The event is all about introducing Aveda and focusing on Invati™ range. I really don’t know what else I can talk about Aveda and Invati™ this time because I’ve went for the press launch back in 2012, which you can read all about it here, I’ve reviewed the whole Invati™ range, which you can read here, ran two giveaway, had an event and a few more activities. Phew 😀 . Nowadays I don’t talk about what went down at an event however I had fun at this one and I wanted to note it down 🙂

Lipidol Cleansing Body Oil: There but not quite there yet

Regulars of Guardian pharmacy would notice a strange looking rack near the check out counter with lots of pastel color bottles in a clear plastic wrapping and stuck on what seems to be a tray that was inspired from egg tray. That strange looking rack with funky bottles which I first reported on my Instagram is Lipidol, a brand new skincare oils by Union Swiss, who is the makers of Bio-Oil.

The whole of the brand only consists of six types of skincare oil and everything is retailing for RM24.90. What I have with me is not all six products but just the Cleansing Body Oil, something that I thought would easily hit all the right marks.

You know how I always talk about water and oil level balance in order to keep a healthy and well hydrated skin? Well, apparently the founders of Bio-Oil are on the same page with this when it comes to the overall skin of the body, not just the face but the whole body from head to toe. Beauty oil has always known to be a favourite among those who believe in its efficacy and that includes me. If you recall I do love to “oil myself up” before bed 😀 . Lipidol want to be the first company to come out with a full oil-based skin care products in order to help the skin to retain moisture thus creating a healthy skin.
