Last Thursday KOSÉ Malaysia held a meaningful event at Mid Valley Centre Court called Save The Blue Project.
Not long after the event started, Mr. Julian of Reef Check Malaysia gave an opening speech.
Save The Blue Project is an environmental initiative by KOSÉ to protect the world’s fast depleting coral reefs. Beginning with the corals reefs off the Japanese island of Okinawa, the Save The Blue project now expands to Malaysia.
2 weeks ago I attended the launch of the latest perfume from Issey Miyake “Pleats Please” at Zebra Square.
The designer Issey Miyake is known for his conceptual purity and elegant simplicity. His work exudes exuberance, dynamism, movement, and colour; it is contemporary yet timeless. The Pleats Please Issey Miyake fragrance has its own special sparkle, the latest and bright facet of the designer’s work.
The launch was initiated with 3 different speech. Firstly a short opening introduction speech.

I was so happy to be invited by RMK Malaysia to have a full makeover at Parkson Pavilion last weekend to try out their iconic Make Up Base, latest 15th Anniversary Summer Collection as well as discovering other products from the brand. As I had an event earlier, I went to RMK counter with some makeup on and I was happy to skip eyeliner that day lol. I was early so Joy (who invited me to the makeover) helped me to remove all my makeup while waiting for Adrian (RMK Trainer) to arrive. Here I am bare face with nothing on. Oppss.
Adrian arrived just in time when my makeup removing is about to be completed. Joy introduced both of us and I handed my camera to Joy so that she could help me to snap some pictures. Thanks Joy!
I was pretty excited to try Skintuner Brightening Light (RM120 for 150ml) after reading good online reviews on the product. Adrian suggested Light instead of Moist as my low-self esteem concern has always been acne marks.
I was delighted to be invited for Benefit’s Raising Eyebrows book launch as well as Brow-Shaping Masterclass which was held last Satuday at Personal Shopper Room Parkson Pavilion.
As I had another episode of muscle dislocation on my right knee (old injury recurring again), I took a muscle relaxation + pain killer meds in order for me to limp over to the event! LOL. I reached early and waited for other bloggers to arrive.
The book Raising Eyebrow is written by Cameron Tuttle, an American author. Cameron made brow grooming sounds fun and easy with all the tips and info. Basically everything that you need or want to know about eyebrow is in this book. Unfortunately this book is not being sold in Malaysia currently. I’m so lucky to be given a copy thanks to Benefit Cosmetics Malaysia.
When I received an invitation to Fabulous Finds – Malaysia’s first beauty box launch earlier this month, I looked up, put both my hands up and said FINALLY someone came up with it!. I’m a huge fan of beauty box. Unfortunately there’s none available locally in Malaysia except for one that send all over from Singapore which is quite costly.
I waited patiently and excitedly for the day to arrive and it finally did yesterday. Despite all the negative energy surrounded me lately I need to be around good people. Happily I put on my makeup and drove to Delicious Cafe at Dua Residency for the launch, high tea and pampering session.
The ambience at the venue is indescribable by words. I felt this strong positive energy as soon as I stepped in. Hui Ling; The Founder and CEO of Fabulous Finds is the main reason for this. I never met such an extra ordinary person before. Yes, I was surrounded by the right energy.
I had the first hand glimpse of the box design. It’s in gift box form, super hard and sturdy, dark pink color with glossy finishing and Fabulous Finds logo initial on the box lid. Simple and sweet. I’m liking this beauty box already!
I was extremely excited to be invited by Guerlain Malaysia to join their Bloggers Get-Together event with Maxime Poulin who works and trained directly under Guerlain’s Creative Director, Olivier Echaudemaison. As you all know, I’m totally into Guerlain makeup and skin care. So you can imagine how excited I am to be invited! This is an exclusive event for bloggers whereas Maxime will showcase the right make-up application using the latest summer collection, Terra Azzurra.
The event is held at Alexis Bistro, The Gardens Mid Valley at 11am. I took too much time doing my makeup at home so by the time I reached it was already 11.05am. As Guerlain’s latest Emilio Pucci collection is in blue, I wore my blue one-piece dress from Forever 21 to go along with the theme.
