Kiss Me Heroine Make Quick Eyebrow Exchange Program

Watsons held a Member’s Day last Thursday 17th Feb 2011. Besides all the discounts and extra points offered, I’m extremely excited with the exchange program for the day.

I’m delighted to find out that Kiss Me Heroine Make had a eyebrow pencil exchange program and I have a automatic eyebrow pencil which was about to finish up. So glad that I kept the casing. I informed a few colleague of mine due to the continuous meetings in the morning, I only managed to redeemed mine after lunch.

Kiss Me Heroine Make Quick Eyebrow #03 Light Brown. All available colours i.e. #01 and #02 was fully redeemed. Only left light brown 🙁

The casing is made from maroon colour plastic. It’s small and thin but sturdy looking.

I didn’t realize this is a twist type of pencil. I kept pulling the top off thinking that’s the cap! Ouch! The tip is superfine at 1.5mm. The smallest I ever seen.

This is how #03 looks like on my hand. It took me some time to get the colour on. Maybe this is new so I have to draw up and down and hard several time to get the colour.

Vichy Exchange Program


Last month Vichy came up with an exchange program for facial cleanser. It’s something like what L’Oréal did previously only this time it’s facial cleanser. When I found out about this, I have 1 empty facial cleanser and another one which is gonna use up anytime soon. I brought 2 tube along to the first exchange venue which is Watsons KLCC but it was so damn strict there that I only managed to exchange one. The sales assitant was pretty new and “innocent-decent” looking and while they are setting up their booth, I approached to check if I could do this earlier than the time stated but she said NO. So I walked around Watsons till my legs are going to broke off anytime soon and the sales assistant approached me to ask me to buy their products and of course I said NO to her as I really do hate arrogant and shitty people. I returned to the counter at 12.10pm and exchanged mine. I check with her if I could exchange another one under my mum’s name and she said “my supervisor is nearby”. Oh well. It’s all expected and I left with deep disappointment. Why disappointed? I’ve read many people exchanged more than 1 and put other people’s name!



Today is the last venue for the exchange program and I drove to Jusco Cheras Selatan, Balakong from KLCC. I reached around 11.30am and waited in the car for a while as I sprained my knee (for don’t know how many gazillion time) on Thursday night and I hardly can walk properly. I reached Watsons at 12noon and the kind sales assistant already started the exchange program earlier than the time stated as I saw a few forms filled already on the table. She explained to me that there’d be someone from their company calling to check if I’m really the one as stated and also to do a survey. She was worried that I might jump up and down like other customers but I said to her that it’s alright. She also explained to me the current promo which is get the 2nd purchase at 50% off! A good deal I would say.

I don’t know why I’m rambling a lot today. I’m still not in the mood due to my work. But having to dealt with a friendly sales from Vichy actually made my day a bit. At least I wasn’t “challenged” in a way haha.

I was so lucky that I left my house early today. I reached Mid Valley around 9.30am and I thought I’d sit in the car till 10am not knowing this exchange was such a hit. As I sat around, I was browsing the net with my BB to search for some info on this mascara and I happen to stumble upon a blog saying there’ll be number to take and she went yesterday around 9.30am and she was #12th. So I quickly get down from my car and head over to the event area and I was #28th!

Here’s the wonderful mascara. The tube is hugeeee at 13.1ml.

Here’s my redemption *yippy!!*

On 1st November, I redeemed 2 bottle of shampoo from Watsons Mid Valley. I really wanted the moisturiser but just couldn’t find a bottle as I don’t buy full size cream.

Then I remembered I have a bottle of emulsion and I depotted the remaining of the emulsion to an empty huge jar. Which explains the moisturiser picture on top. My colleague exchanged for me as they’re heading over for the exchange too. I passed to them another 2 empty bottle of shampoo but they were told that redemption starts at 2pm which is weird as I redeemed at 12pm.

Nevermind that. On the same day as I was driving home, I head over to Alamanda as it’s nearby my house and I was told redemption ends at 2pm! So confusing! Which is the real time?? Flyer say starts at 2pm, I redeemed at 12pm, colleague was told 2pm and Alamanda ends at 2pm. Well nevermind that too. I wasn’t really bothered by that. I actually thought today (5th Nov) is the last day and good thing it’s public holiday so me and mummy drove over to Alamanda again after lunch and we reached around 12.30pm. I was happily greeted by the staff there and managed to get my redemption right away.

The end result? Additional 2 more shampoo =)

The moisturiser is HUGE! Normal price of this is around RM30+. Really worth it.


Now I have 4 bottles of L’Oréal Paris TR5 Shampoo 180ml and 1 bottle of L’Oréal Paris White Perfect Day Cream 50ml to use.

Good job and many thanks to L’Oréal Malaysia for this great program and generosity.
