It was 2 months ago that I opened up two new mascara to use. First is the Marc Jacobs Omega Lash. You see, I like mascara that is thick, slightly dry, gives me volume and length. This one? Does nothing. So I rummage through my medium-size Sephora at home and happily took out the Laura Mercier Extra Lash Sculpting Mascara from 2016 Holiday Collection. Now, this one I love. It’s volumizing, it’s lengthen my lashes making them looking va va voom. I left it untouched for a week to let the formula dry out a bit and it’s perfect. Love it until one rainy day. I became a panda. That few drops of rain on my lashes melt the mascara so it was all over my lid when I blinked. Besides the fact that it’s not waterproof, there’s nothing else I hate about the mascara. So I was itching to open up another brand new mascara and this Maybelline The Falsies Push Up Angel was on my vanity table for the longest time. It came together with the entire set of The Loaded Bolds lipstick, for which you already know I love 🙂

The Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips duo is not a stranger to most of you. I didn’t attend the blogger event but I was given this iconic duo when I went over to Physicians Formula Malaysia office for a meeting on #IWillBeOkay Beauty Bag. Always love Physicians Formula team. They are always ever so kind to me. Since then, I have been using the Shimmer Strips since last year and I’ve been loving them! They are so well-loved / beat-up by now which shows how much I adore them.
I don’t wear falsies that often, although I know I should be especially when I’m taking photos for all the #motd and #lotd look. I tried to. I really did. I have all the falsies at home but I couldn’t find the right falsie glue. I have been hunting for months for a glue only to find lots of crap and fakes of the known brand. It’s disappointing. Out of the sudden, a huge HUGE parcel arrived my doorstep about 2 months ago. I opened it up and screamed as I was doing my usual happy dance. You know me. I’m forever happy with beauty stuff sent my way 😛 . It’s like someone has been listening to my invisible frustration voice that they sent me a care package containing loads of eyeliners, eyelashes, eyelash glue and double eyelid glue! And it’s from a well-known Japanese brand, D.UP.
I thought I would dig into the eyeliners first among all the products in the parcel but nooooo. I had my eyes and my soul fixed on the D.UP Eyelashes Secret Line AIR and D.UP Eyelashes Fixer EX. I took the risk with trying it on a full face of makeup for the first time for this review. No trial in advance, no nothing. It’s a either make it or break it lol. I was also snapping tons of photographs for two more products review so if I screw the look up, I’m doomed 😛
It was last year that I was watching either Lisa Eldridge’s video or Fleur De Force video on the Lancôme’s Grandiôse Liner and I was all fascinated and hyped up about it because it sounded like one hella good eyeliner concept with the bendable handle. As you know, almost 80% of the women population are struggling with drawing a winged eyeliner on, especially Asians. Asians typically has hooded eyelid and it is really a struggle to draw the flick at the end. I have been through so many methods, tips and tricks on drawing a winged eyeliner that something like the Lancôme’s Grandiôse Liner which has a bendable handle seems to be the answer to my prayers. Is it really? 😉
I don’t think I have much prominent experience with The Body Shop cosmetic products. If you’ve been watching The Body Shop since many years ago, you would know that the brand had evolved in so many ways. And especially with their cosmetic range.
The Body Shop has quite an interesting eyeshadow collection. By collection I mean you can either customize your own palette to a mono eyeshadow, a quad or you can buy their eye palette and switch the shadows around. The one I’m talking about is Down To Earth Eye Palettes. I have heard so much good reviews on these eyeshadow and when I finally got around playing with the shades, I see myself nodding head in agreement. I have three Down To Earth Eye Palette quads – Go For Gold, A True Romance, Down To Earth – 03 and one mother palette, Down To Earth – Eye Palette.
Let’s talk about something I am obsessed with. I have been experimenting Yadah Quick Tattoo Brow Gel for the past two weeks and it has been really fun! Quite a funny one too. You will know what I meant if you follow through all my Instagram Stories 😀
A few weeks ago I had gotten very bored and tired doing my eyebrows. I am constantly in a rush and eyebrow took the longest time for me to do. I see you nodding your head in agreement too 😉 . I have heard about the eyebrow tint from Etude House and after some googling, I decided I would want to get that. So I waited for weekend because Etude House usually throw a Buy 1 Free 1 promotion during the weekend. That was some time ago. I was not sure if the promo is still happening this time around so I decided I would wait. It was not something urgently needed anyway. I could still live with a few more days of doing my brow lol. Two days later Sarah from Lashes and Strokes Instagram Stories the Yadah Quick Tattoo Brow Gel and I was like hmmmm! I did not know Yadah have this?! I was at Pavilion the same day so I dropped by Sasa to check it out, only to be told to buy online. Then I texted the brand person for Yadah and I was told that the brand is no longer in Sasa. It will head to Watsons soon *hint*. So I resorted to Hermo because I know Yadah is a main brand in Hermo.
