Smashbox Double Exposure Palette Review + Step-by-Step Soft Cut Crease Tutorial

This year I have not been utterly excited with any new or upcoming makeup except for the Smashbox Double Exposure Palette. Whenever I am at Sephora, I always stopped by Smashbox shelf to look and swatch the Full Exposure Palette. Now, this is something I don’t do as I’m not into neutral shade eyeshadow palette and somehow I was attracted to Full Exposure Palette as many YouTubers are raving for it. I was still pretty much in awe with it until Smashbox Malaysia telling me somewhere last year that there will be a new palette coming and that is the Double Exposure Palette. One of my favourite YouTuber Shaaanxo reviewed the palette and when I saw the shades on the palette, I was sold there and then. It is definitely not an all-neutral palette and there are a wider selection of light fleshy shades with purple and blue within the palette, which is right down my alley 😀

The Christopher Kane for NARS Summer 2015 Collection: Overview, first impression, swatches and makeup recreation

I’m an avid follower of Youtuber Tati so when she posted up a video on The Christopher Kane for NARS Summer 2015 Collection earlier in May, I said to myself that I got to check it out for the most obvious reason first of all – the bright fuchsia pink print against NARS signature black casing. Unexpectedly, Traclyn extended her preview invite to me and so both of us went to the new NARS store at Mid Valley to check out the new collection 🙂

Ahhh eyeshadow stick. These are so in trend over the recent years and so does cream eyeshadow. I have to admit. I have yet to dip any of my toes into eyeshadow stick. I’m a bad bad beauty blogger 😛 . Don’t worry. It’s never too late to try anything when it comes to beauty products. That’s the great thing about beauty!

I am finally dipping not just the toe but the foot into the world of eyeshadow stick thanks to the NEW Elianto Long Wear Eyeshadow Stick. That is because I get to try all six new shades of the newly launched product. Yaaaassshhhhh!

Many years ago I was told that Elianto is a brand from Korea. In fact, Elianto products are mainly formulated and manufactured in cities around Korea such as Seoul and a few more. However, there are a small percentage of Elianto products made from other countries. These new Long Wear Eyeshadow Stick are made in Germany. Germany as I know recently, make one of the best cosmetic products. So I do have high hopes on these eyeshadow stick. Pressure ahead 😛

L.A. Girl PRO Conceal HD Concealer #Natural: My current favourite under eye concealer

I’ve seen it, I’ve heard about it, I’ve read about it and now I’ve gotten my hands on it. The L.A. Girl PRO Conceal HD Concealer is the rave recently in the beauty world. Everyone is talking about it. The more I see it, the more I want it. The catch is that it’s not available in Malaysia or at any online store that ship to Malaysia. There are a lot of pre-order spree on Instagram but you know me, I have zero patience for spree. I happen to stumble upon a seller on Instagram that coincidentally had just received her spree parcel and she have a few extra for ready stock.

L.A. Girl Pro Conceal HD Concealer
The Collection Cosmetics Lasting Perfection Concealer is often said to be the exact dupe of NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer, while this L.A. Girl PRO Conceal HD Concealer is claimed by many to be the dupe of MAC Pro Long Wear. Now, I have yet to try the MAC one so I can’t tell you if this L.A. Girl concealer is really the dupe but according to Makeupalley.com, some girls said it’s not. However I find that the bad reviews in Makeupalley is the total opposite of my experience so I’m going to help to clear the air as a first time user of a product that was flown in from another country and tumbling in the box for hours.

Bourjois Smoky Stories 06 Upside Brown: Now everyone can be a makeup artist!

Have you watch all the Bourjois Smoky Stories Quad Eyeshadow Palette series on Bourjois YouTube channel? I have and I was sold the minute I watch the first video. One particular palette that I fell deep in love is the 06 Upside Brown. Bourjois Malaysia kindly gave me a palette to try but the shade that I got was different. Sneaky me requested for a change because I knew 06 Upside Brown would suit my daily makeup style than other colors.

Now. What’s so special about this new quad palette if you may ask? It’s an eyeshadow palette with pre-coordinate shades. What that means is Bourjois think hard and long to put together all 4-shades in each palette so that each of us can channel out the makeup artist in us with the help of this palette 😀
