CANMAKE unveiled latest makeup trends with Glossy & Shiny and Color Coordination theme

CANMAKE, the one and only Japanese cosmetic brand that I’m using celebrated its grand 30th anniversary last weekend at Beauty Expo and unveiled the latest range of face, eye, cheek, and lip colours.

The theme Glossy & Shiny for the party season gave a natural, light, translucent looking skin with dewy glow is the centre stage of this look. Complement the look with glossy lips to accentuate natural lip colour. Another trend that is currently popular in Japan is Color Coordinate. This look is all about coordinating the lips and cheeks using the same colour. Seal the look with gel blusher blended high on the cheek, just below the eyes for the oriental doll look.

Lifestyle Sunday: Guardian ‘Bring Your Orange Bag’ Campaign in support of Malaysia Environment Week

Guardian Malaysia marks environment week with the launch of ‘Bring Your Orange Bag’ or better known as BYOB campaign in Malacca state to be in line with the State Government’s initiative to make every day a plastic bag-free day beginning 1st January 2016.

Interestingly, I find out that the 20 cents collected from every Saturday (it’s our no plastic bag day FYI) are used to create Guardian BYOB campaign. We don’t feel so bad paying that extra 20 cents now that we know that the funds are being used properly for a good cause, isn’t it? 😀

The contemporary line on the other hand emphasis colours like buttercup yellow and vibrant ultramarine blue, chiffon prints, brocade and lace, abstract Aztec prints, digital cloud prints, and tropical floral prints, A-line flare dresses, constructed dresses with front slits, oversized jackets, printed column dresses, mid-waist brocade shorts, and ruffle detailing on sleeves and fronts of tops. The entire collection is priced from RM29.90 to RM129.90.

SK-II Beauty Bound Asia Phase 2 Post-Event Report

Alright girls. As promised in my Beauty Bound Asia introduction post and Phase 1 post-event mini report, I attended the Beauty Bound Asia Phase 2 workshop, which was held on the 3rd October at Ruyi & Lyn Restaurant in Bangsar Shopping Centre together with the lucky 29 finalist, meticulously chosen from 73 contestants from Phase 1.

Although I did not participate in Beauty Bound Asia, however I was appointed as one of the influencer for the program and guess what? I get to be at the workshops together with all the finalists. That means, I get to learn whatever these finalists are learning as well lah. In fact, I reached Phase 2 event venue just in time for the YouTube session. It was the highlight agenda of the day for me because I get to learn the tips and tricks of YouTube. You know, just in case I decided to start a YouTube channel. Who knows? 😀

L’OCCITANE and the L’OCCITANE Foundation have been working hand in hand with many organisations that are dedicated to fighting blindness. In 2006, the L’OCCITANE Foundation was created with two long-term missions: to support the visually-impaired and promote the economic emancipation of women.

Did you know that there are almost 285 million blind or visually-impaired people throughout the world? However, the shocking thing is that 80% of blindness is actually preventable! This problem is especially apparent in low- or medium-income countries, where 90% of the visually-impaired live. So far, more than 1,500,000 people have benefitted from eye care thanks to L’OCCITANE’s efforts to support the blind and visually-impaired.
