Things We Throw Away That We Shouldn’t

I have a confession. I didn’t blog for today. I took a night off blogging yesterday…put on mask, laid on the new comfy sofa in my pyjamas and watched tv with my parents. I can see mum was especially happy yesterday night that I wasn’t staring at my laptop looking stress. Ohhh yea. Blogging could be stressful too ya’ know.

I woke up this morning feeling a bit awkward as I know there’ll be no post that will popped up by 7.30am. So I did my usual skin care routine, makeup and cleaned all my tools and brushes. Just when I was about to put the dustbin back to it’s original place, I saw my Shu Uemura eyelash curler IN the dustbin.


And I go “what the…”. I thought I’ve put it back to the drawer. It turns out I put the tissue that I used to wipe the eyelash curler in the drawer while I threw the eyelash curler in the dustbin. LOL! That’s a total opposite of where they are suppose to be eh? This is not the first time this thing happens to me. I once threw away a mascara, hair brush, mascara guard, mascara separater comb, eyeliner, my spoon and even plate to the dustbin. Now I make sure I keep my rubbish for at least a week before I gave it to mum for the garbage truck. Just in case 🙂

A lesson learnt today. Don’t go dreaming when you’re doing or throwing something away.

 

Have you ever been as clumsy as me? I’d cry if I found out I gave away my rubbish to the garbage truck and my Shu Uemura eyelash curler is in it!

My Skin Care & Body Care Stash

3 months back I showed you my brand new unopened makeup stash at this post https://street-love.net/2012/06/another-ikea-addition-lennart-drawer.html. I’ve lots of brand new skin care here and there and I’ve gotten tired searching and thinking what I have on hand. So yesterday I took out all my Clarins gift box which is taking lots of space from my huge drawer and decided to place each products in the drawer instead. I’m almost done arranging yesterday night and finished off the balance this morning.

Here is it! All in this drawer is my stock. Brand new, unopened. From right to left is Sephora gift box, Michael Kors Estee Lauder pouches, Victoria Secret Delicate Petals Body Mist (discontinued, last 2 bottles), one row of body care, one row of serum/moisturizer, one row of cleanser, one row of cleansing milk, one row of toner, one row of mix eye serum with sunblock and the last two row is gifts to future recepient lol! There’s a few more hidden in front of the drawer which I didn’t managed to capture.

Easy access and better view for me. I’m gonna put all sachets and trial size in the gift boxes that I have.

We’ve Moved!

To a new home!

First of all sorry for all the funny things appearing in the blog this week. I did mentioned that I’m still tweaking here and there in the “Sticky Post” 🙂

So, whaddaya think of the new home? Hope ya like it. Street Love is now at WordPress. Having said that I also bought a piece of “land” for the new home as that’s the requirement of having a self-hosting blog in WordPress.

I know some of you is having problem viewing the site from mobile as I have Featured Post, Slider and Carousel on the top of Main Page. So I’ve removed it although I love it but removing that for the moment.

I’m still tweaking the Menu Bar on top. After I’ve migrated to a new web host my custom domain email account fiona[at]street-love[dot]net is not functioning. Now I’m back to feeyona.loh[at]gmail[dot]com for temp.

Also, fixed the Feedburner email subscription. You should be able to subscribe now 🙂

Quick Update – My Mini Name Cards

Sorry girls. I’m unable to post a proper blogpost as I’m embarking on a new journey in my career but…here’s a sneak peek at Street Love mini namecards that I did 2 weeks ago. The printer ter-print a mini version for me. What do you think? Do I reprint a new box or reprint after finishing this box? It’s really really small.

Quick Update – Photocopy Junction

I used to go to this shop located at the alley behind KFC at Kajang town. Haven’t been there for ages and I was there yesterday. Slightly renovated, bigger space but still maintain that old school look.
