GISELe December 2010 X Coach Poppy 2011 Diary

Went over Kinokuniya on Thursday to check on my order for Gisele magazine but the shipment will only arrive late evening the same day. I was advised to collect on Friday which is the next day but I decided to collect on Saturday as I can take my sweet time browsing and walking in Kinokuniya.

On Saturday I collected my order and grabbed a Chinese magazine along. When I was handed the magazine, from far I was wondering where is the diary. As I grabbed the magazine, I couldn’t feel the brand item. I have to really really feel the magazine slowly only to found out the diary is inside the magazine. It’s not bulky like how it used to be. My guess at that time is that the diary is really small and thin. This issue of GISELe is selling at RM56.60 and I didn’t see any copy at the open rack.

GISELe December issue comes with Coach Poppy 2011 diary. Coach just launched their new line of Poppy which tartan print is one of it. I guess this brand item is inconjunction of the new line?

Overall this is a good buy for Coach lover and collector like myself. Although I still don’t know what to do with this diary but I just couldn’t resist a Coach =). I think the diary fits in my Coach Poppy Clear Cosmetic Case.

Chinese Magazine FG Magazine Majiami Review: Magazine

Another magazine that I picked up last Saturday together with Gisele December 2010 issue.

I’ve been eyeing on this since the magazine is available in Kinokuniya and I didn’t know why I reserved from buying it till it was the last copy on stand. Weird huh. I can’t understand either. Maybe I didn’t find the interest in having another skincare samples but recently I was scouting for another skincare type and this came to my mind. Maybe that’s why I decided to get it. Majiami is selling at Watsons and it’s quite pricey. I wouldn’t want to jump into another new skincare brand that is pricey but doesn’t work on me. This sample is a good try.

The magazine is selling at RM18.93 and comes with 3 Majiami samples which consists of 2 samples in tube and 1 in sachet.

The sachet is glued on the card. This makes the sampling sachet looks better & doesn’t makes me feel like it’s cheap as I don’t normally like sachet packets.

IMHO, cleanser should be in tube form and not sachet. If face cream then ok la.

The Whitening Lotion 10ml is another story. It was packed in a cute box.

As you opened the box, this is how it looks like. Very creative I would say.

Whitening Scrub 10ml comes with a box packaging as well. But it’s boxed up rather different than the lotion. You can see the tube from outside.

I would say this is a good buy. Never regretted buying this. Could this be my next skincare?

I’ve been waiting for ages for this. This will be launched in Japan tomorrow; 28th October 2010. Won’t be reaching Malaysia that soon =(

So…

My new template died on me and I was too busy to search for new one so I was “forced” to settle with this for the moment. Oh well…sigh!

Back to being busy…

My post previously is about me resigning. I did hand over my letter and was called to my CEO’s room by my CEO. She was so furious and scolded me non-stop. The funny thing is the more she scold me, the lesser I listen to. While scolding, she asked “so now you gonna give up and not doing it anymore?”. I replied her “YES”. She asked again “you’re not going to do this anymore and walk away?”. I replied her “YES”. Then she tone down and talk to me nicely. That is when I start to listen to her. To cut the story short, my CEO managed to persuade me to stay. And the unexpected thing happen the next afternoon. She fired that evil fella! I think the whole office celebrated. I did not. I went GAGA over this cause I’d be more busier. I was right. For the past 2 weeks, I’ve been running around settling disputes, errors, no invoice, no magazine etc etc etc and at the same time it’s the usual weekly deadlines for Trader and the coming Autocar deadline. Because of this, I haven’t been to Kinokuniya for so long compared with my twice a week trip.

And since I have an hour lunch time to spare on Wednesday with no where to go, no appetite for real food and no lunch buddy on my mind…I decided to drive to KLCC. No japanese magazine caught my eye that day and I picked up SHOUT magazine for their fabulous freebies. The magazine cost at RM9.90 and comes with a long lash mascara plus a liquid eyeliner.

The weird thing is I don’t apply eyeliner. I actually wanted to give the eyeliner to Monica but I did a patch test and it’s FABULOUS! I draw a straight line on the back of my hand near my thumb. After the liner dries, I put my hand under running water and the liner stays without smudging or whatsoever. Next, I rub the liner UNDER running water and still no signs of smudge. Really incredible.

Next is the mascara challenge. I knew I will be out in the sun whole day on Thursday so I applied the mascara. It’s a bit risky but worth to try? As I expected…the mascara never even smudge at all leaving me panda eyes. The only bad thing about this is the smell. Its horrible. Not like usual mascara smell. Mum even ask me to consider to get another copy since it’s cheap and good =)

Purchased SHOUT magazine special issue which comes with a Shimmer Elements Colour Kit for RM9.90. There’s 3 English magazine with attractive freebies to choose from and in the end I chose this. I think I’ll have use of this instead of the other freebies.

Japanese Magazine Review: Magazine Spring Magazine Tsumori Chisato

SPRING Oct 2010 X Tsumori Chisato Pouch

A backdated post which should be posted before MISS November 2010 issue.

I must be frank. I did not like the brand item for Spring October 2010 which is a Tsumori Chisato multicase pouch/wallet. Don’t get me wrong. I love Tsumori Chisato. The pouch is made from shinny PVC (I think) in black and yellow polka dots. I think it’s weird. However, as time pass and when I look at the magazine cover again and again everytime I’m at Kinokuniya. . .I decided to buy. Yes. I only decided to buy everytime it’s the last copy available lol. Its not expensive compare with other magazine. I just love how Spring makes their magazine cover “clean” and not over-junked with stuff on it. And as usual. . .the blurp on front cover is so nice and tempting!! Another reason for me to get this is because I actually thought of getting another LeSportsac e-Mook in Black Glitter or maybe another Robin Egg Dot as I love it so much. But its irrelevant to buy another same mook just because you like it and more and more brand item or mook is coming out so I bought this instead. This is selling at RM37.20. 

I opened the magazine to check the brand item for flaw after paying and the 2 nice lady at the cashier counter is really helpful. I was surprised that the pouch is actually very big. However it looked weird. It’s not properly aligned inside out. Now I know why most bloggers are saying that brand item from magazine is bad quality compared with mook. This is what they meant.



There’s 2 hook at the back just like LeSportsac pouch to turn into sling bag.

See. Everything is sewn not in straight.

I remembered reading somewhere saying most japanese magazine or mook buyer love tote bag brand item. To me, I’m not a tote girl. I’m more of a pouch girl. But I don’t buy all the pouch. I normally need to think first what can I put or do with the pouch then only I’ll go and buy. I’m a smart shopper according to Shila LOL. I don’t use tote as my bag to work. And the only tote I use must be chosen and considered if it’s suitable to bring to work as a document bag. I don’t want my CEO or my clients go thinking I’m not suitable for the job. Yes. Appearance is very important in our line.

This is like a love-hate relationship. I wanted to get another one :). I know I know. I’m crazy. Shall think again.
