It is seriously eyeliner olympic season now girls. With so many brands releasing numerous types of eyeliner product into the market recently, one particular eyeliner pen stood out the most among the rest. It is none other than the NEW Maybelline HyperSharp Liner Laser Precision.

I am a.b.s.o.l.u.t.e.l.y obsessed with winged eyeliner-do. It’s funny I said that because one year ago, I know nuts about eyeliner what more drawing one! Let’s face it. I have a typical Asian Chinese eye shape that is probably not the easiest shape to draw onto. The biggest mistake I made is that I never study my eye shape before getting on the eyeliner bandwagon. So I practise and practise and practise. I have tried almost all the method there is to get the perfect winged eyeliner. I was fine with one particular way of eyelining until a good friend of mine told me the winged is a little bit droopy. Droopy? What droopy? That’s the shape XiaXue and Cheeserland had! 😀 . Collection Cosmetics Lasting Perfection Concealer in Cool Medium 2: Good for covering marks but creases on the under eye

What I notice lately on the beauty scene is that everyone is raving on two concealer – NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer and Collection Cosmetics Lasting Perfection Concealer. NARS is on the high price side and when Collection Cosmetics was launched, beauty bloggers as well as YouTubers start to go cray cray over Collection Cosmetics Lasting Perfection Concealer saying that it’s actually a cheaper alternative dupe of NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer. I, on the other hand never use any concealer before as I don’t have dark eye circles as a result of getting at least 8-9 hours of well-rested beauty sleep every night. Now that I only sleep 4-5 hours max, I find myself stumbling searching for a concealer suitable for me. Last weekend out of the blue I wanted to get my paws on Collection Cosmetics Lasting Perfection Concealer. And so I did.

When I walked into Watsons KLCC and headed straight to Collection Cosmetics shelf, I saw a BA standing there and I thought hey that’s great. I can get her to help me choose the right shade for me. It turns out I was just hoping too much. I told her that I need the lightest shade and she handed me the tester for Light 2. She doesn’t seems to answer my question properly for example I ask her if this concealer will crease on the under eye and her answer to me was “yes it can be used on acne marks”. LOL. After I made my payment only I notice I was holding Cool Medium 2 tube. I went back to her telling her that she have gotten me the wrong shade and she told me there’s only 2 shades available – Cool Medium 2, which is the new packaging for Light 2 and another darker shade which I couldn’t remember what is the shade name. Well, too late to regret because I’ve already paid.

Physicians Formula has always been a brand that I’ve wanted to try ever since I started watching YouTube a few months ago but because it is not available locally here in Malaysia, I never get the chance to. Thanks to iHerb.com, I can finally get my paws on a bottle of Physicians Formula Youthful Wear Spotless Foundation & Brush SPF 15 that was first introduced by Judy on It’sJudysTime YouTube channel back in January 2014.

To add more excitement to how well-received this foundation serum is, whaddaya know…the foundation comes with a small slanted flat top Pro Blending Brush. The below photo is how Physicians Formula Youthful Wear Spotless Foundation & Brush came through the mail. The foundation glass bottle and brush was securely cushioned and densely packed into a clear base in the box. iHerb.com did not bubble wrap it. I’m glad nothing broke and nothing was leaking. I trust iHerb but I don’t trust the postman 😛

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in San Paulo: Feeling love and hate at the same time, well mostly hate

Ever since NYX was made available in Sephora, I haven’t properly look into its range of products. How can I. Every time I went to Sephora KLCC, NYX shelf is always the busiest and crowded of all. Beats the whole Sephora crowd. There is something about NYX. I see girls with a group of friends making a beeline to the section, crowding the entire section and took several hours swatching, making it almost impossible for me to even see anything. I think I was in luck one Sunday. I went to Sephora KLCC with the intention of grabbing the Soft Matte Lip Cream. I managed to do three swatches (I know right, just three swatches) before a group of girls pushing me away from my back, my left and right. Haigh. Again.

The shades that I managed to swatch is San Paulo, Milan and Istanbul. I wanted an everyday shade so the first I pick up was Istanbul. The shade is alright and then I swatched Milan and it is too pale for my dark lips. I had my eyes on San Paulo. The swatch came out vibrant, lovely dark fuchsia shade but I was worried that it might be too bold on me. I couldn’t make up my mind between Istanbul or San Paulo so I walk around a bit to decide.

Just before I rediscovered Daiso Eye Brow Pencil, I was actually using ZA Ever Brows in 03 Natural Gray for my brows. I did not expect to bump into my old love Daiso Eye Brow Pencil so when I did, I was so happy about it that I decided to tell you about it first. I’ve already finished the whole Daiso pencil (yes, that fast) so now I’m back to ZA Ever Brows 😀 . Let me tell you, this baby will send you running to Watsons store in no time…especially dark hair girls *hint*

I’ve tried most of ZA makeup products for the past 10 years. ZA Ever Brows is something that I keep repurchasing before I started blogging, but in Dark Brown shade. Let’s just say I stray a bit after I started blogging. Eventhough so, I always go back to ZA.

The Brush Guard: Small investment brush protection sleeve for long lasting brush lifespan

As my brush collection is getting larger, washing and drying them is getting a little bit tougher as I only have one pack of The Brush Guard Variety Pack of six to rotate whenever I need to deep clean all my dirty brushes. I bought that one pack when I just started with makeup and I remember I bought it for my ELF brushes. That’s how I was taught to dry my brushes from day one and I still practise the same exercise till this day 🙂

Just recently I went on a hunt again for The Brush Guard and I think I found the same seller who sold me my first The Brush Guard many years ago. I reach out to her through her Facebook page and I ended up with these packs. Mind you there wasn’t many people that is selling this brush guard, even online. Hunting the seller down is tough but I always knew where to find them.

But of course all this doesn’t come with no drama. And because of this drama, my review that was suppose to go up gazillion days ago was put on hold because I need to get some sort of confirmation before I lash out here. This is suppose to be MY BLOG to share with everyone my tips and tricks or even favourite products so that more people would benefit from it. But nooooo. It turned to be business related and I was furious. I had spoken to the seller who sold me hers so that she can contact The Brush Guard but she sort of wanting me to do it instead. I could have just review this without linking to anyone but I was more interested with the core of the problem so I contacted The Brush Guard personally. In conclusion, I will not link the online store here. More of the drama at the end of the review…
