Yadah Deep Pore Cleansing Facial Brush: The no scrub, scrub way to clean clogged pores

Have you heard of the term “no makeup makeup”? No makeup makeup is pretty much self-explanatory but for those who is new to makeup, here’s my interpretation of the term no makeup makeup 😛 . No makeup makeup is where the makeup you applied on appear invisible or flawless and yet still flaunt your features and natural beauty. Usually a no makeup makeup look uses less product with mostly natural and light shades. As a matter of fact, I’ve been doing the no makeup makeup look daily for the past two weeks just for fun. Okay, now that you know what is no makeup makeup, this brings me to the product that I want to talk about today – a “no scrub scrub” Yadah Deep Pore Cleansing Facial Brush.

Yadah Deep Pore Cleansing Facial Brush
Let’s face it. Not everyone is born with smooth, flawless skin. I certainly don’t. But I don’t sit and blame for what’s already given to me. I like to search for ways and products to turn things for the better. Skin care had helped me with my skin a lot over the past few years, 3-years to be exact. My pores are easily congest with dirt, sebum/oil, makeup residue and even air pollutant too will cause blockage to the pores. I personally feel sebum and makeup residue is the biggest contributor to my clogged pores. That is why I like to use facial scrub and clay mask A LOT to get rid of congested skin problems such as blackheads and whiteheads.

Hada Labo Air Aqua UV SPF 50/PA+++ (Moist): No reason not to love a weightless, gel sunscreen this El Nino season

I go through different stages of favourite product on every month. Sunscreen is probably my favourite item at the moment. My guess is probably because our country Malaysia is experiencing El Nino at this very moment. Gift me flower and I’ll frown, gift me a bottle of sunscreen and I’ll smile for the whole week. Never like flower anyway 😛

When I received a bottle of Hada Labo Air Aqua UV SPF 50/PA+++ (Moist) from the mail a couple of weeks ago, I thought it was a day time skincare as the bottle was written “day emulsion”. I was all excited because I ran out of day time moisturizer at the same time lol. As I said earlier, I’m on the sunscreen craze at the moment. So I was equally happy with this new sunscreen from Hada Labo.

Hada Labo Air Aqua UV SPF 50/PA+++
Hada Labo Air Aqua UV SPF 50/PA+++ is a new sunscreen with new innovation of advanced 5 UV Defense System against UVA and UVB. Hada Labo claimed that this sunscreen texture is smooth and feathery light. Well let’s see about that later 🙂

Oxy Anti-Blackhead Wash: Effectively minimizing blackheads buildup, skin is less oilier but doesn’t help much with acne

Almost everyone regardless good skin or bad skin suffer from blackhead issue. I am definitely one of them. I do admit popping these backheads out is rather entertaining and addictive (oppss!) but you shouldn’t do that. No. You should look for a better skin care alternative 😀

OXY’s new upgraded Anti-Blackhead Wash now comes with powerful Mineral Enriched Volcanic Clay that works on your skin in multiple way, keeping the skin clear from backheads. Let’s find out how.

Oxy Anti-Blackhead Wash
A decade ago, people will tell me that acne / pimples and blackheads would stop after puberty. With our current weather getting more and more hotter, add that with currently hectic and stressful lifestyle, these skin problems is never ending. At least not for me. In fact my skin turns younger these days with more breakouts. Blackheads usually develop on oilier areas on the face i.e. the T-zone. It happens when the pores are clogged up with oil, dead skin cells and dirt which later oxidizes when hair follicles are exposed. That doesn’t mean you won’t find blackheads on other area beside T-zone. Trust me, it’s everywhere 😛

Hada Labo Review: Skin Care Skin Care - Firming Skin Care - Hydrating Skin Care - Toner Skin Care - Wrinkle / Fine Lines

Hada Labo Retinol Lifting + Firming Lotion: Anti-aging toner with intense hydration? Interesting!

Fans of Hada Labo Retinol Lifting + Firming range would be delighted to know that Hada Labo recently improvised the whole anti-aging range by adding in exclusive cutting-edge technology known as the Insta-3D Moisture-Lock Technology into the formula. It is a combination of 4 types of Hyaluronic Acid  – 3D Hyaluronic Acid, Nano Hyaluronic Acid, Super Hyaluronic Acid and Hyaluronic Acid that linked together to form a 3D moisture net that works by deeply moisturizing the skin and wrapping the skin in order to lock-in moisture for continuous hydration.

I have here with me the Hada Labo Retinol Lifting + Firming Lotion. Although I have no fine lines or any signs of aging at the moment, honestly at my age I would prefer this over Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Lotion. People say, prevention is always better than cure 😀

Hada Labo Retinol Lifting + Firming Lotion
The whole Retinol Lifting + Firming range consists of five products namely Retinol Lifting + Firming Lotion, Retinol Lifting + Firming Milk, Retinol Lifting + Firming Essence, Retinol Lifting + Firming Cream and Retinol Lifting + Firming Mask. Hada Labo products are known for it’s iconic moisturizing factor so what’s so special about the new upgraded range eh? The 3D Hyaluronic Acid that I’ve mentioned above is Hada Labo’s latest discovery to lock-in moisture for even longer time. As a result, skin stays soft, supple and smooth for a longer period.

Clarins Event Review: Skin Care Skin Care - Firming

Clarins Shaping Facial Lift Total V Contouring Serum: The 4th generation of its kind for a slimmer face, refined cheeks and lifted jawline

Just as excited as I am when I was invited to the media launch and preview of the NEW Clarins Shaping Facial Lift Total V Contouring Serum, I’m excited now that I’m finally able to share this new launch out after keeping it a secret for a month and a half 🙂 Just a little introduction on how I got into blogging and what makes me started using skin care. I was diagnosed with a serious condition of Hyperthyroidism and I was put on lots of medication to control all the hyper metabolism inside my body. What I didn’t know is that my body was not used to the intruder (the meds) and I put on weight as my body was adjusting itself back to normal. The medication also gave me puffy face and water retention was building up on my face as well. One day I saw how slim my client’s face was and I ask her if she went on a diet. She told me about Clarins and strongly recommend it to me but she did warn me about the price. So yes, Clarins Shaping Facial Lift was the reason why I started using skin care. It was my first Clarins purchase and I have repurchased nearly 20 bottles since then. Clarins 4th Generation Shaping Facial Lift Shaping Facial Lift was specially created for Asian women and Clarins was the first to offer the world the one and only refining serum back in 1999 after studies shown that the most leading concern for Asian women is the need to achieve a more refined and sharper feature. Thanks to Clarins for listening and taking the plunge to come out with a product that is now the No. 1 contouring serum in Asia.

Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Series: How I combat acne attack using less than five products

People say as you get older your skin gets drier. I am the other way round. Oily skin can get a little bit annoying at times but nonetheless I felt blessed because I don’t have fine lines or wrinkles on my face. It’s either that or this, right?

At my age now I shouldn’t still have oily skin or a skin that is prone to breakout. If you remember not long ago I have shared with you my current skincare routine using a full anti-aging skin care range that I find might be too rich for my oily super oily skin that it gave me a few new pimples every day? I was in luck because not long after my review was posted up, my long expected Thursday Plantation Tea Tree skin care series parcel arrived my doorstep. I badly needed these products to turn my skin around.

Thursday Plantation Tea Tree
Nope, you did not read the title wrongly. I did received five Thursday Plantation Tea Tree skin care products, which I find by just using three products from the brand helped to solve my acne problem. I’m not going to review all five products by sequence, i.e cleanser > toner > gel but instead I’m going to tell you my favourite product from Tea Tree series down to my least favourite. Since there’s going to be five products and you can already foresee how long this review is going to, I don’t think I’ll go too technical like the usual review. Just straight to the point like and dislike 🙂 . Ready? Let’s start.
