Kiehl’s Micro-Blur Skin Perfector: Latest breakthrough in skin care technology that gives imperfection skin a soft focus effect

You know how most girls (and guys) are into editing their photos with all the beautifying effects using photo editing software or apps? Have you ever notice why your friends photo are blurry with soft focus-like effect? The secret is adding soft focus effect by blurring skin imperfection.

Kiehl’s recently came out with a brand new product – Micro-Blur Skin Imperfector and boy I was over the moon with this one. I don’t normally use a new product on my face without doing some research prior. However the product name itself hit me on the right spot and I find myself using the product within the next five minutes of receiving the parcel 🙂

I notice that pores is number 1 first world issue for most women, regardless if they have smooth skin or they have orange-like skin. Women just like to complain about their “large” pores. I have annoying friends with porcelain smooth flawless skin who is forever looking for a product to shrink their pores. Read between the line – porcelain smooth flawless skin. Whenever these girls start to complain about their pores (which doesn’t even exist on them), my inner self starts to shrink and I always see myself shrinking to a mouse size, you know…just like the movie Alice In Wonderland? I felt exactly like that. My statement is supported by research done by Kiehl’s whereas the finding proves that pores are a key skin issue for women regardless of age GLOBALLY.

It is not a secret I love facial scrub. I think it’s the best product to get rid of all the dead skin cells and rejuvenate the skin, especially that I have acne marks to lighten. I’m trying to scrub lesser these days so that I don’t overdo it and causes my skin to get even more oilier. So yes, I stopped stocking up facial scrub since one year ago. What I have in my stash could last me for a good full year now that I do scrub my face lesser.

When I first tried The Microdelivery Peel at the media launch of Philosophy back in February 2014, I was literally having the ooohhhs and aahhhs moment because I was fascinated on how two products work as one. It’s interesting, I feel like a scientist, the product feels good on the back of my hand and this is not just any in-home peel but a Vitamin C peel system. I get to bring home a set, used it all up and this is my repurchase set 🙂

When you’re at Sephora, you will find this white huge box with lots of words on the top flap. Just look for one that says “The Microdelivery Peel”. The box’s top flap is removable. Well, not removable completely type of removable. You can actually open up the top flap to see the content on the inside.

My Current Skincare Routine: A complete Shizens anti-aging skincare to maintain a youthful skin

After nearly three years of getting both feet into a proper skincare regime, I’ve toned down a lot on mixing my skincare products. The last time I did an update on My Latest Day & Night Skin Care Routine is back in 2012. That’s two years ago! A lot has changed since then. A few months ago I’ve been thinking to do an update on my current skincare routine but was distracted to something else. Now is the perfect timing as I’ve recently embark on a new skincare range. Just one brand, with five products only. Yes, no more three serums layering on each other 😀

Let me introduce to you my current skincare routine. I’m using none other than Shizens, starting from cleanser down to moisturiser.

I never believe in using a full set of the same brand skincare all these while. After one full month of embarking on this new journey, I must say it’s really an eye opening for me. SK-II Facial Treatment Essence: Does my skin improved after going through 2-bottles? Surprise ahead

Let’s face it. Everyone wants a crystal clear skin. Who doesn’t right? I never imagine myself having crystal clear skin. I’m not born with a good skin to begin with and the problems I have just make everything seems impossible. I’m sure you remember watching SK-II’s luring TVC of the iconic Facial Treatment Essence. SK-II advertisement never fail to make me go gaga. It is the one product that I’ve been dying to try. Let me repeat that. DYING TO TRY. What stop me from doing so? Facial Treatment Essence or “Miracle Water” as they’re widely known as is SK-II’s signature product. It is actually an essence but misunderstood by most people as a lotion/toner, I would say probably from the patting application on the TVC previously. The essence itself contain over 90% Pitera™, the miracle ingredient discovered over 30 years ago that remains essentially unchanged till today. Pitera is a naturally-derived liquid from the yeast fermentation process. The history goes all the way back to 1970s, when a scientist in Japan visited a Japanese saké brewery and noticed the elderly workers had wrinkled faces, but extraordinarily soft and youthful-looking hands.
