Talika Lipocils Expert 28-Days Challenge – Day #7

Hello girls. I know you might be curious on how Talika Lipocils Expert works on my lashes right? Here is Day Seven progress.


For the first 7 days I’ve been wearing mascara. I’ve totally forgotten to skip mascara to let the essence sink in. But nonetheless my lashes are thicker, longer, darker and slightly curlier. I used to have lashes fall out everytime I removed my eye makeup. Not anymore since I’m using Talika Lipocils Expert. Practically I didn’t lose a single lash!

I’ve include Day Zero below as comparison as well.

Review: Avène Sérénage Nutri-Redensifying Vital Serum & Day Cream

This week I rekindled with my first love. Skin care first love that is. Many years ago I remembered driving to Mid Valley, stepped into Guardians and bought a whole set of Avène. I was given a bunch of trial size too and the products succeeded in combating my acne problem. As I mentioned many times before in my blog…I get bored easily with the same routine everyday so I stopped using skin care once and for all. Talking about being lazy LOL! Don’t worry. All that is history now. I’m very devoted to my skin care routine now that I know the importance of using skin care.

At my age now (gosh I feel so old saying this) I’m more suitable with anti-aging range. I was told that Avène has a new range called Sérénage. In today’s review I’m going to review two product from the new range which is Nutri-Redensifying Vital Serum and Nutri-Redensifying Day Cream.

Talika Lipocils Expert 28-Days Challenge – Day Zero


I’m excited to reveal that I’m participating in Talika Lipocils Expert 28-Days Challenge!

It was kinda rushing as I received a phone call from Talika Malaysia 2 days before the challenge start date. The next morning I took the photos of my lashes before zooming off to work and collected my Talika Lipocils Expert from Talika’s office that same morning. Nevertheless I’m more than happy to participate in this challenge! Cross your fingers for me ya.

Here’s showing you how my pathetic lashes looked like on Day Zero which is the Before.

The lashes on my left eye is much more fuller and longer than my right. I have makeup artist asking me why is it so LOL!!

This is a delayed post so I shall be posting weekly update in another few more days to catch up with the time frame.

Not many people know this but I used to own a car forum (which the name I choose not to disclose) and the theme of the forum is hornet. Review: I Turn to Sampar Glamour Shot Eyes for a 1-Minute Solution

I don’t have major dark circle problem or eye bag *thank GOD* but I do have fine lines on the inner corner of my eyes due to dehydration. If I skip my eye cream then you’d see horrible fine lines visibly appearing and it’s even more visible once I put on makeup as makeup tend to make the area around my eyes even more dehydrated. So when typical skin care BA told me to apply just a small pea size of eye cream I find myself going against the instruction. I mean what can the small lil eye cream do for my eyes right?

Mid of last week I visited Sampar Malaysia office to get to know the brand and products upclose and personal. I like this kind of personal brand introduction as I get to hands on with product testing in a private area as well as asking all the questions that I have with me. Initially I wanted to do a brand introduction first before reviewing a Sampar product but due to some reason I’m gonna reverse the cycle ya. Will do brand introduction on Sampar when I visited their counter soon. Stay tune on that too.

I was given a handful of samples for review and I chose Sampar Glamour Shot Eyes for my first review as I DESPERATELY NEEDED A FIX for the fine lines around my eyes! I don’t normally review samples but Sampar is very different. You don’t need a full size to try for 2 weeks before writing a proper reivew. With Sampar Glamour Shot Eyes you only need 1-minute. Yes 1 minute!


In 1 minute, this multi-action glamour revealer erases dark circles, brightens the dark areas around the eyes and blurs under-eye wrinkles and fine lines. Which is why I strapped my sample to my phone and carry it everywhere with me. Whenever I think that I need a quick fix to my fine lines I just whisk my phone out and there’s my Glamour Shot Eyes. Plus it’s a cute and unique phone accessory don’t ya think so? 😉

Sampar Glamour Shot Eyes comes with a sponge applicator. I find that the applicator is very useful in getting into deep corner around the eye area before tapping the product with our finger to even the product out. And it deposited the right amount of product from the sponge to the eye.

Review: Clarins Purifying Cleansing Gel With Hamamelis is the One Cleanser I Hope Clarins Bring Back

This is the last tube in my stash that I’ve been saving as it has been discontinued. I’ve taken a few picture of this last month so I thought I should revive the review.

One of my favourite cleansing gel is definitely the Clarins Purifying Cleansing Gel With Hamamelis from Truly Matte Set which I hauled in June 2011. This is not a full size product but it sure do look like a full size to me. A full size tube is 125ml retailing at RM92. This on the other hand is 75ml which makes it valued at RM55.20. Worthy!

Simple, short and sweet instruction on the back of the tube. The tube is just like any ordinary cleanser or facial foam. Although the one I have is from a best buy set, however the cap is very very strong and sturdy which I appreciate it very much. The cap is secured with a shrink wrap which means it’s new, fresh and unopen. Another thing which I like from Clarins.
