I’m pretttttyyy sure you’ve tried the old AUPRES Aqua Active Sleeping Mask. To be honest I’m not quite a fan of sleeping mask because I rely on slapping on a thick gel moisturizer to sleep which works as sleeping mask most of the time 😀 . I did tried one of the Korean brand that was famous for it’s sleeping mask but felt it to be a bit meh. I then tried AUPRES Aqua Active Sleeping Mask (because I like the white little balls in it) and thought it’s rather cool that the white balls melts away during application. Not quite there yet in impressing me. I still felt that my gel moisturizer works better. When AUPRES said they are reformulating, repackage and relaunch it’s famous AUPRES Aqua Active Sleeping Mask, I have high hopes. The new sleeping mask is now named as AUPRES Aqua Active Sleeping Mask EX.

Review: Freeman Charcoal & Black Sugar Facial Polishing Mask to Purify, Detox and Exfoliate at the Same Time

If you have been following the blog for some time, you are well aware that I am not really a fan of sheet mask as I still think wash off mask is more convenient for me. The funny thing is most people told me the opposite :). I think the main reason on why I would prefer wash off mask is because I usually apply mask at night while I blog. Sheet mask will slide down my face slowly and I’m very afraid that this will drag all my skin down on prolong usage. But that’s just a personal preference. Everyone is different in a way 😀

Although Freeman Charcoal & Black Sugar Facial Polishing Mask looks like some kind of mask that are suitable for combination to oily skin, this mask is actually meant for all skin type. This is a unique mask AND scrub that works double the time to purify, detox and exfoliate the skin.

The tube is huge for 150ml of content! I’m sure you won’t miss this at the local drugstore. The tube itself is kinda soft. At the moment I don’t have any issue with squeezing and dispensing the content out as the content in it is still full but since this mask contain actual black sugar, the sugar bits is stuck at the dispense hole so the cap won’t closed properly. Each time after using this mask I would need to wipe off the leftover from the dispensing hole in order to close the cap properly.

Review: Luminous Skin That Shines from Within with Neesya 360° Overnight Radiance System

In my quest for skin care that are not only affordable but also deliver as per claim, I was introduced to a brand new skin care brand – Neesya which is one of Malaysia’s first skin radiance specialist brand. Yeap you heard me right :D. Neesya is a local brand, by a Malaysia company.

Neesya was launched just before middle of last month (July 2013) and I was one of the selected invitee. You can read this post for more of that. Not only did I went for the media launch and also a little visit to their new store at Subang Parade, I get to try 3 Neesya products a few weeks before that.

So how did my quest went? Let’s find out 😀

The trio that I tried is the 360° Overnight Radiance System that consists of Lumi°™ Brightening Enzymatic Refiner, LumiScience°™ Illuminating Essence and Lumi°™ Brightening Overnight Mask. So what’s up with the “Lumi” and “LumiScience” word in front of the product name you may ask? It’s actually the product range name 🙂

Review: Clinelle SnoWhite Mask; The Go-to Mask for Immediate On-the-Spot Brightening

I’m not a fan of Clinelle. There. I said it. The product just don’t work for my skin. I think it’s quite mild for my not-so-good-skin. Recently I received quite a few Clinelle product from Wonderbox. Since most of it are expiring soon, I took out SnoWhite Mask to use. I’m a huge fan of rinse-off mask. It’s convenient for me as I could put on such mask and sit down to blog while sheet mask just don’t sit properly on my face when I’m looking down at my laptop.

I remember when this Sampar So Much to Dew Midnight Mask was launched last year I was attracted to it after hearing the explanation and testimonial from Sampar International Training Manager; Mélanie Montier. Mélanie said that if we feel that the skin condition was in bad state and in need of emergency rescue, So Much to Dew Midnight Mask is the one that we should reach to.

Well, my skin’s bad state normally would means pimples popping out here and there. Not quite the dry, harsh or skin peeling state. But that doesn’t stop me from leaning over to this overnight mask. That leaning could only mean I was too lazy for a proper night skin care regime 🙂

Review: EVE LOM Rescue Mask; Deep Cleansing Mask + Scrub at the Same Time

Have you heard before that a 2-in-1 shampoo are not good for the hair? 2-in-1 as in wash and condition at the same time. But not all duo functional products are as bad as what the shampoo had caused. Just like 8-in-1 BB cream which is also bad for your skin but yet millions use that everyday haha.

The recent 2-in-1 product that I’ve been using on and off for the past 3 months is the EVE LOM Rescue Mask. At one glance it’s actually a deep cleansing mask but there’s also a second usage of the mask.

For combination / oily and acne prone skin like mine, I treat deep cleansing mask like a heaven-sent product. Whenever someone told me they have congested pores I always always tell them to use a deep cleansing mask at least once a week. As for me I slap on deep cleansing mask 3 times a week. Reason being is that I have serious congested pores. There are times where I focus too much on mask that I neglected facial scrubs. I didn’t realize that both actually work well hand in hand until I consulted a beauty trainer. There I was sitting down and complaining about my congested pores and the first question that was given to me is “do you use facial scrub too?”. Ohh crap! Then only I know I’ve neglected my facial scrub and rely solely on deep cleansing mask!

I was attracted to EVE LOM because of the simple and clean packaging. Their signature is white tube / jar with gold name stamp. For some reason this type of packaging seems elegant and looked expensive to me. Talking about luxury in a tube eh?
